- Visa Information: We recommend the KAZA Univisa (USD 50) for eligible nationalities, as it allows multiple entries between Zimbabwe and Zambia and covers day trips to Botswana, making it the most convenient option for this tour. Please note that eligibility depends on your nationality. For the visit to Namibia (Impalila Island), some nationalities require a visa, which currently costs USD 100. Visa requirements vary by nationality, so please contact us before booking and we will be happy to advise on the correct visa for your passport. We also recommend bringing cash (USD) for any visa fees, as card payment facilities at border posts may not always be available.

A most memorable day at Chobe
This was a fantastic trip. Excellent organized from pick up to drop off. Blessing guided us quickly through the border with minimal waiting time . Bryan was an enthusiastic and excellent guide . We had excellent sightings at Chobe ( leopard hunting , big pride of lions, elefants swimming to the island ). We immediately booked another tour with the same company for the next day!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your fantastic review! We are delighted to hear that you had such an incredible experience and that everything was well organized from pickup to drop-off. We're especially pleased that Blessing made your border crossing smooth and efficient, and that Bryan's enthusiasm and expertise helped make your Chobe safari so memorable. Seeing a leopard on the hunt, a large pride of lions, and elephants swimming across to the island are truly extraordinary wildlife encounters—what an unforgettable day! The greatest compliment we could receive is that you immediately booked another tour with us. Thank you for your trust and for choosing Cuckoo Safaris. We look forward to welcoming you back for many more amazing adventures!

Exceptional guide; not-so-great communications from Cuckoo
We took a tour with Cuckoo from Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe to Chobe National Park, Elephant Sands, Planet Baobab, and the Okavango Delta. Our guide Simon was excellent; he was attentive, informative, and detail oriented and added so much to our experience. Unfortunately, we can't give top marks to Cuckoo. Communication about our itinerary was sketchy and we often felt "shuffled" among random contact people whenever Simon wasn't our guide. As examples, we didn't know our pickup times or contacts for certain legs and the itinerary changed late in the trip. We had little to no guidance about tipping (does this person work with Cuckoo? or is he with another company or resort?) which was VERY frustrating. The tour itself provided a good overview of these areas, but we feel the company needs to improve its communication both before and during the trip in order to receive a higher rating.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for choosing Cuckoo Safaris for your journey through Victoria Falls, Chobe, Elephant Sands, Planet Baobab, and the Okavango Delta. We’re delighted to hear that you had an excellent experience with our guide Simon — he is indeed one of our most knowledgeable and dedicated guides, and we’re glad he added great value to your adventure. We sincerely apologize for the communication gaps you experienced during your trip. Your comments regarding itinerary updates, contact coordination, and tipping guidance are well noted. We are continuously working to improve our pre-tour and on-ground communication, including providing clearer daily schedules, named contact persons for each leg of the tour, and better briefing materials before departure. We truly appreciate your honest insights, as they help us refine our operations and deliver an even smoother experience for future guests. We hope that despite these challenges, the beauty and diversity of your safari made it a memorable journey.

Great safari organised by Cuckoo
I had a rough idea of what I wanted to do and sent it to Cuckoo to work into a specific itinerary at my advised price point. They did a good job and after a couple of tweaks it was all agreed. Pre-trip they were helpful answering questions. Once arrived we were allocated a main point of contact for our stay. Simon was helpful and friendly and communications were both in person and on WhatsApp. Guides for individual trips were generally pretty good displaying good knowledge and answering questions as well as spotting animals. Overall we had good value for money and I was pleased I selected Cuckoo to organise our safari - which was based off these reviews. If you are looking to do a safari then I would recommend Cuckoo they did a good job and I would use again if needed.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for trusting Cuckoo Safaris with your adventure. We’re delighted to hear that the planning process was smooth and that Simon, along with our guiding team, made your stay enjoyable and well-coordinated. It’s wonderful to know you felt the value of your safari and that our communication both before and during the trip was helpful. Your kind words and recommendation mean a lot to us, and we’d be honored to welcome you again whenever you’re ready for another safari.

Best tour experience, highly recommended!
I am usually sceptical of organised tours, but I must say this one was really great in all aspects! The communication with cuckoo safari was very smooth, the operator (Tatenda) answered very quickly and was even available on WhatsApp if we had any questions during our stay. The overall planning was great and allowed to see a lot of amazing things while also having some time to relax (although it could be a bit harder for people with young children or elderlies as there are a lot of early mornings so it can be a bit tiring, but worth it I think). We always were only the three of us in all the safaris we did so it felt very private and exclusive. Everyone was extremely nice and punctual, and the accommodations were all very good as well. You might find it a bit pricy, but honestly when you see the quality of the services it is worth your money, I highly recommend this company!
Response from the operator: Hi It was a pleasure hosting you and thank you for your feedback and taking your time to review us, we look forward to your return.

4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Victoria Falls.
How much does 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia cost?
+
Prices start at $1,400 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Victoria Falls usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia take?
+
Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Victoria Falls is not rushed.
Is 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 19 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Victoria Falls, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Victoria Falls can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Victoria Falls and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Victoria Falls within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Victoria Falls?
+
On Outty we rank every Victoria Falls experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Tour of the Falls (Zimbabwe side), Zambezi River Class IV-V White-Water Rafting from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe & Zambia: Guided Tour of the Falls from Both Sides. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Victoria Falls?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Victoria Falls?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 4-Day Four Countries Safari: Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana & Namibia?
