Stand tall at the edge of the world, paddle an infamous Canadian lake, be one with nature. Loaded with classic routes and itineraries, you’ll love what Lake Fever has to offer on this 4 day romp across 3 prime wooded destinations: Algonquin, Killbear, and Killarney Provincial Parks. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a call to Lake Fever. No guest preparation is needed, no equipment, not even a sleeping bag/pad. Lake Fever offers budget travelers free transportation, camp-cooked meals, and good old fashioned campfires, but *please be advised, on this particular tour guests will be expected to share in cooking/dishes duties at least once.* Sightseers can enjoy access to the Canadian wilderness for a unique opportunity that would otherwise take a lot of planning and money to arrange (not to worry, first-timers will learn the basics of camping). Cross the great Canadian road trip off your bucket list. Who knows, it may be your once-in-a-lifetime experience.

    Amazing Trip

Had a great time! Damian is awesome and has the craziest stories. When you go, ask about the abandoned inn. He's also very accommodating and took care of my kosher and gluten-free needs. 10/10!

Response from the operator: Haha, aww thanks, Feiga! Such a good trip

    Great learning experience!

I am a first time camper in North America and hence wanted to do this with a guide. I am very glad, as we didn’t have to carry any of the equipment. Damian was experienced and patient. I learnt a lot from how to set up and take down the camp, how to responsibly separate and dispose the waste, among other things. I’d highly recommend this operator if you’d like to see three national parks in 4 days.

Response from the operator: Thank you, Seema! Really enjoyed having you on the tour with us, through sunshine and rain.

    Amazing time and highly recommended

My 11-year-old son & I did the "Moose on the Loose" trip in late July and it was a brilliant trip; a good mix of hiking, activities and relaxation. This was part of a longer trip around Canada and it was so nice not to have to think about what to do, where to stay and how to get there for a few days…as it’s all taken care of! The best thing about the trip was Damian – our tour guide. His approach was friendly, informative and laid-back. He was particularly great with my son; answering all his questions and chatting to him when he sat up front in the bus. Amazing time and highly recommended

Response from the operator: Thanks! You guys were so much fun. I enjoyed watching Declan warm up to the group...but also (and especially) his fearless cannonballs. Hope you had a really nice visit to Canada!

    Excellent trip

A great experience in the northern Ontario nature with plenty of well organized fun out door activities. Nice and responsible tour guide, recommend.

Response from the operator: Glad you had a good time, and very nice to meet you!

A once in a life time experience

For a family that never camped before, that was a true adventure. Our guide was amazing. The well-planned trip gave us the opportunity to explore breath-taking destinations, experience a true thunderstorm, sleep in tents for the first time and really bond as a family. Our guide supported us all the way and was keen to make the hick in difficult terrains that we have never experienced before as easy as possible for me and my husband. He was well prepared and maintained an eco-friendly trip with proper recycling. He was also aware of all the needed practices during Covid times. The group was so friendly with an easy-going attitude that made our time together a true blessing.

Response from the operator: Thanks so much for your kind words, Hanan! I will agree that it was certainly an adventure to look back on. Consider yourselves initiated, lol. I'm glad your family felt looked after. It's always my goal to make newcomers feel as comfortable as possible to ease you into the whole process. It can be daunting camping for the first time, but you guys did great!

4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Toronto.

How much does 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney) cost?

    +

Prices start at $621 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Toronto usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney) take?

    +

Plan for about 96 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Toronto is not rushed.

Is 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Toronto, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney)?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 96-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney)?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Toronto can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Toronto and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Toronto within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Toronto?

    +

On Outty we rank every Toronto experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Niagara Falls Tour from Toronto: Boat Ride & Journey Behind Falls, Niagara Falls Canada Day Tour From Toronto + Boat Cruise Option, Niagara Falls Day Tour from Toronto. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Toronto?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Toronto?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in 4-Day Canadian Camping Road Trip (Algonquin, Killbear, Killarney)?
