Wonderful Experience
Absolutely loved this cooking class! It was a 3-hour experience with 9 different recipes and bottomless drinks, hosted right in Odette and her husband’s home in Cancún. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made the entire experience feel personal and relaxed. Odette was a wonderful teacher, and everything we made was delicious. What made the experience even more special was how genuinely helpful and thoughtful they were. I recently moved to Mexico, and they went out of their way to offer recommendations for grocery stores, cooking tips, and other advice to help me get settled. I highly recommend this cooking class whether you’re visiting Cancún on vacation or actually live here. It’s such a fun, authentic, and welcoming experience and you leave with plenty of new recipes to make at home!
Response from the operator: Welcome to Mexico! We are absolutely thrilled that Odette and Edgar could not only provide a delicious and authentic cooking experience but also help you get settled with local grocery and cooking tips. Making guests feel right at home is what they do best! Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Felt Right at Home
Odette and Edgar welcomed us into their home with open arms. They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all the dishes we made. Odette started with teaching us a Mexican cocktail and informed us that we could make up more throughout the class. I was already aware of some of the dishes we made, like guacamole and pico de gallo, but it was great to see how locals make the dish. I also learned multiple new dishes I had never heard of before. Odette and Edgar also gave us plenty of recommendations on things to do while in the city. Definitely would recommend cooking with them while in Cancun.
Response from the operator: Welcoming you with open arms is Odette and Edgar's specialty! We are so glad you got to see how locals prepare the classics while also learning completely new dishes, and we hope their local city recommendations made the rest of your trip amazing. Cheers! Authentic, fun, and delicious experience!
Can’t say enough great things about Chef Mel, her husband Israel, and their pup Pardo! We cooked and ate the most delicious, authentic Mexican food, drank endless Mezcalitas, and had the best time just getting to know them. They accommodated our preferences easily and made us truly feel like a part of their family. 10/10 recommend to anyone visiting Cancun!
Response from the operator: Welcoming guests into our home and making them feel like part of the family is exactly what we love to do! We are so thrilled you had the best time cooking, drinking endless mezcalitas, and hanging out with Chef Mel, Israel, and of course, Pardo. Cheers! Maira from Cook in Fiesta

Yum! Would do again!
What a fantastic experience! This Mexican cooking class was excellent from start to finish. The teacher was awesome: knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely fun to learn from. We made so much food that nobody left hungry, and every dish was delicious. The laid-back atmosphere made it all feel relaxed and social rather than rushed or intimidating, which made the whole experience really nice. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great n culinary experience and some new skills/recipes in the kitchen!
Response from the operator: We never want anyone leaving hungry, so we're thrilled you enjoyed the feast! A laid-back, social atmosphere is exactly what we aim for, and we're so happy our patient and fun teacher gave you an excellent experience in Cancun to pick up some new skills. Cheers! 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.
How much does 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.
Is 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 77 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 95 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks?
+
Around 33 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3hr Cooking Class in Cancun with 9 Recipes & Bottomless Drinks start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cancun?
+
On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chichen Itza from Cancun : Cenote, Valladolid and Mayan Cuisine, Early Access to Chichen Itza with optional pick-up, Early morning Chichen Itza Tour: Cenote and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cancun?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cancun?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
