7-day tour Lisbon, porto, et al.
We actually had a seven -day tour which started at Porto and went all the way down to Lisbon and near-by town. It was a private tour we arranged with My Lisbon Holidays and they did an excellent job. Our Guide in Porto was Tiago for a day and the rest was with Joel. They were very knowledgeable indeed of the history. Hotel was marvelous! D. Garcia

Disappointed in the tour as they...

Disappointed in the tour as they seemed ill-prepared for the weather. We arrived on a Saturday and had rain on Sunday. So Sunday became kind of a wash out because they didn't really know what to do with us since our tour guide did not want to walk around in the rain. We didn't mind the rain and were open to walking around, however. Also, the palace got moved from Sunday to Monday because of the rain, so we never got the tile or the wine experiences advertised, which we didn't realize until later. I also won't recommend it since on the first day when we arrived in Lisbon, we were primarily driving around the city, which makes a long day of travel even longer - some of our family were falling asleep in the car due to the soft slow music that was constantly playing. Also, they advertise a luxury apartment overlooking a square. Our did not - it overlooked a side street that was a five or ten minute walk from a square.

Response from the operator:
TOUR OPERATOR COMMENT: Thank you for your review. Regarding the weather, of course we are fully prepared for all kinds of weather. We always try to adapt the best we can the tours in order to suit our customer's experience. The guides provide a detailed list of options and explain everything to our guests so we can adjust the tour itinerary, as needed. Of course, if it’s raining too much the guide will adapt the tour to have a better experience instead of providing the exact itinerary as stated where the group will be wet and unconfortable. This is why some items were skipped on the itinerary, but our guide made this clear when the options were presented to you.

Additionally, we think that having soft jazz music playing in the background helps our guests better enjoy the experience rather than noisy music. However, all our guests are welcome to ask our guide to change the music if they wish.

Your apartment didn't overlooked a square because you were a group of 5 people that required a larger room that usual. However, you were still provided with a luxury apartment with a lovely terrace at a 5 minutes walk from the square.

We are sorry these items seem to have spoiled your entire experience with us as we always strive to provide our most excellent service to our customers.

Perfect way to start visit to Portugal. The guide gives so much information those first few days that can be used in the rest of you travels. I would say I got a taste of the people, life, and the food. Loved the city and our guide

Overall, a very personable and comfortable experience with our tour guide, Joel introduing beautiful Lisbon during the 3 days tour.

Some of the locations we visited are quite an out-of-ordinary sites eg we went to the cliff to have a good view of the ocean and feel of the strong sea breeze, that we will have no chance to visit if left on our own.
Joel also stopped the car specifically at strategic location for a bird eye view of the uncommon tourist scenic spots.

Fado at the restaurant is also a welcoming and variety although we didn't know how to appreciate.

Tour guide also introduced us to good local food like the mustard pie at Balem and the Cherry Liqor.
All in all, we enjoyed our trip very much and this good memory will stay with us for the longest time.

+

+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 96-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
