Truly unique experiences

I attended my second Loliv experience this spring, after taking part in a mozzarella-making class during a visit to Puglia last summer, and once again, it was incredible. This time, we joined a cooking class with Madia, and it was every bit as special as the first. Both experiences with Loliv have been truly unique and deeply authentic, going far beyond any other tours or classes I’ve done while traveling. Each felt personal, immersive, and genuinely connected to local culture in a way that simply hasn’t been matched elsewhere. I highly recommend Loliv experiences to anyone looking to connect with locals and enjoy a truly memorable experience that will stand out long after the trip ends. Thank you again, Claudio!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for coming back to live another Loliv experience, Brandon – it truly means the world to us! We’re thrilled that experiences left such a lasting impression. Creating meaningful connections and sharing authentic glimpses of our culture is exactly what we aim for. We can’t wait to welcome you and Mike again for more memories, flavours, and hands-on magic from the heart of Puglia! 🧡

Phenomenal cooking class

We had an amazing time with Claudio and Chef Julien. They were so much fun with our family of five teaching us how to cook traditional Apulia desserts. We loved our experience and highly recommend for families that love to come together and cook food.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much! We’re so happy you and your family enjoyed the experience. You’re always welcome back in Puglia!

La Dolce Vita

We had 2 amazing experiences with Loliv during our trip to Southern Italy--a cooking class, and chocolate pastry experience. It was a novel way to learn, experience culture, and support local artisans and creators. And of course, it was amazing to eat with the freshest and most local of ingredients. Both times our guide Claudio was a wonderful translator and companion. Highly recommend the experiences with Loliv to step away from travel guide books and into a curated, intimate experience!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much, Diana! We’re so happy to know that both experiences made your trip even more meaningful. It was a real pleasure having you with us. You’ll always be welcome in Puglia for more authentic and unforgettable moments!

Great people, great experience

Loliv is an outstanding company to book with! My husband uses a wheelchair, and they went above and beyond to make the cooking class fully accessible — he ended up being better at making pasta than I was! Claudio was incredibly attentive throughout, always making sure we had everything we needed. Coming from America, we were a bit nervous about the language barrier, but everything was seamless. We enjoyed a delicious meal with the chefs afterward and had wonderful conversation. Truly a 10/10 experience — highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Amanda, thank you so much for your beautiful words! It meant a lot to us to make this experience truly accessible and joyful for all of you. We’re so glad you felt welcomed and relaxed. You'll always be welcome at our table here in Puglia! 🧡

Unforgettable experience

Unique and extraordinary experience that I highly recommend. A special opportunity to learn some recipes of the typical Apulian cuisine. Sideboard is super addictive and conveys his passion in the kitchen. I thank the Loliv team for their attention to detail. Super recommended

Response from the operator: Grazie tante Arianna! Madia sarà felicissima di leggere le tue parole, e noi ti aspettiamo con gioia per continuare a scoprire insieme i sapori autentici della Puglia!

3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Bari.

How much does 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari cost?

+

Prices start at $67 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Bari usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari take?

+

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Bari is not rushed.

Is 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Bari, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bari can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bari and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Hours Authentic Apulian Cooking Class in Bari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Bari within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Bari?

+

On Outty we rank every Bari experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Bari’s Ultimate Street Food Tour - Small Group by Do Eat Better, Boat Tour of the Polignano a Mare Coast with Aperitif, Polignano a Mare: Boat Tour of the Caves - Small Group. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Bari?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Bari?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
