Beautiful vintage car, Breathtaking views, great company. Nothing was too much trouble.

Wow wow wow. What an experience! Luigi was the most perfect host/driver/tour guide/photographer. He went above and beyond to ensure we had the most magical tour in his vintage Fiat 500 (roof down). He was a pleasure from collection to drop off. His knowledge and passion for southern Italy was very clear and his attention to detail whilst photographing us warmed my heart. We’re well travelled and been on many tours in numerous countries; hands down, this beats every single one. He took us to the most beautiful spots that only a local would be aware of, we’d have never found 3/4 of what we saw. The views were ones I’ll never forget, at one point, we were above the cloud, watching the sunset with mount Vesuvius as the backdrop. If you’re considering this, do it. You will not regret it. Thank you Luigi!

Response from the operator: “Wow, thank you so much for these kind words! It was truly a pleasure sharing this special experience with you. We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the vintage Fiat 500, the hidden corners, and especially the sunset over Mount Vesuvius. Creating authentic and unforgettable memories for our guests is always our goal. Thank you for your trust and for your kindness: we hope to welcome you back to Sorrento for another magical tour in the future! 🇮🇹🚗✨”

    Don’t waste your money

Our tour only lasted 2 hours, instead of 3 and we were dropped of at our hotel before the sunset so it was very disappointing. Our tour guide Dom, didn’t provide much details about the area while we were on the tour unless we asked a specific question. We visited a few spots to stop and take photos that were of great views. As we were making our way out to San Agatha area, I thought we would stop again but before we much have drove right by it without knowing. Before we realized it we were back at our hotel without a work about San Agatha. The tour operator offered to let us take a vehicle for 3 hours the next day but we already had a tour booked and if I wanted to rent a vehicle to drive around a city I’m not familiar with, I would have done that. He also provided a code to take a tour with no charge if we ever come back to Sorrento. Not very useful since I don’t tend of revisit countries. Definitely not worth $300. I gave one star for each hour the tour lasted.

Our Sunset Drive in an Alfa Romeo Spider

Dom was a fantastic tour guide. We had the Alfa Romeo Spider. It was such a nice car for an evening drive. We went into Amalfi Coast, saw some amazing views and beautiful places to see the sunset. Dom also gave us a lot of Information about the local area. He took us on a lot of quieter roads

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.

How much does 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento cost?

    +

Prices start at $290 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.

Is 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento?

    +

Is 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Hour Sunset Tour in Vintage Cars in Sorrento start and how do I get there?

    +

What are the best things to do in Sorrento?

    +

On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sorrento?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sorrento?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
