    Nice day

We had a very nice time. The weather was hot and it was 3 lovely hours at sea. Caroline was friendly, with a good sense of humour. It was a good atmosphere for adults and teenagers.

Would of given a better rating but unfortunately the captain made us feel uncomfortable

We decided to go on this boat trip to see Ladiko and Antony Quinn Bay, and overall the locations themselves were absolutely beautiful. The swimming stops were really nice and we loved getting to swim in such great spots. The ladies working on the boat were also lovely and very friendly, and the kids really enjoyed the kiddy cocktails they made for them. Unfortunately, there were a few things that made the experience uncomfortable for us. One of the snorkels broke accidentally after another couple used it, and the captain reacted by shouting at them in front of everyone. It was awkward to witness, especially as they simply asked for another snorkel and were refused. The captain’s behaviour throughout the trip also made us uneasy at times. The trip description mentioned “drinks included,” but over the 3-hour trip we were only offered one drink. Another downside was that smoking was allowed throughout the journey, so as non-smokers we spent most of the trip smelling cigarette smoke, which really affected our enjoyment. The scenery and swim stops were fantastic, but the atmosphere on board and lack of consideration for guests meant the experience didn’t fully live up to expectations.

    Bad experience

We booked this boat trip while on holiday and started the day having a really lovely experience, which is why what happened afterwards was so disappointing. During the second swimming/snorkelling stop, I went to take the goggles off my head and the strap came loose from one side. The equipment provided was already very old and worn (even the snorkel mouthpiece I was given had part of it chewed away), but I hadn’t complained because we were enjoying ourselves. When I got back onto the boat, the captain grabbed the goggles from my hand and immediately accused me of purposely breaking them. It was incredibly uncomfortable and embarrassing, especially as it happened in front of everyone else on the boat. At the next stop, my partner politely asked if I could simply use another pair so I could continue snorkelling, but the captain refused and again insisted I had broken them myself. I was then effectively singled out and unable to join in while everyone else swam and viewed the fish after they had been fed. One of the ladies working there later apologised to me, which I appreciated, but unfortunately the situation had already made me feel upset and uncomfortable for the remainder of the trip. My partner tried to explain at the end that the way I had been spoken to was unfair, but the captain continued to respond rudely and it escalated from there. Accidents happen, especially with older shared equipment, but the way this situation was handled completely ruined what had otherwise been a lovely day.

Amazing Views & Amazing Friendly Staff!

Myself, my partner and his mum recently visited Falaraki and booked the 3 hours cruise with Sofia Sea Cruises via get your guide. When we arrived at the harbor we were greeted by a lovely lady who checked we were booked on. We boarded the boat in due time and set off. The day of our cruise the weather was a little cloudy (as can be expected for a visit at the end of October!!). The cruise is meant to stop at 3 swimming spots however the captain advised us due to the sea swells he did not feel comfortable stopping near the caves as it is obviously very rocky. We did not mind this as it is something out of our control. We stopped at the second stop and was told we were allowed to get off and swim. With the weather being on the cloudier side, I personally did not get off for a swim, however my partners Mum braved the sea (which was still warm!!). Staff were extremely helpful offering her a life jacket as she was a little nervous and continually checked on her to make sure she was okay. We then stopped at Anthony Quinn Bay where we were credited with a little extra time to swim due to missing the first stop. This is a very beautiful serene place with beautiful clear blue water. We were also offered complimentary juice, white wine, fruit and some little nibbles which I felt was a lovely added touch. The lady who was working this day is an absolute credit to your team! She chatted with us and the other people onboard (in multiple languages) and joked with us about all the old UK tv shows as I believe she is from the UK or lived there for some time, I am sorry I do not remember her name!! If I was to return to Falaraki in the summer I would not hesitate to book another trip with Sofia Sea Cruises. Thank you for a lovely trip!!

3-hour boat tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Rhodes.

How much does 3-hour boat tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $59 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Rhodes usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3-hour boat tour take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Rhodes is not rushed.

Is 3-hour boat tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 67 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Rhodes, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3-hour boat tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3-hour boat tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3-hour boat tour?

    +

Around 23 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Rhodes can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Rhodes and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3-hour boat tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Rhodes within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Rhodes?

    +

On Outty we rank every Rhodes experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Makarounas Fishing Boat Trip with swimming stop and BBQ on board, Athens cruise: Agistri, Moni/Metopi, Aegina with lunch & drinks, Rhodes Exclusive Swim Cruise Cocktail Open bar & Gourmet Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Rhodes?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Rhodes?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
