Desert excursion Merzouga
Me and my daughter booked a 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes with several stops along the way, including a trip to the Merzouga desert. It was an extraordinary journey where we discovered breathtaking scenery and amazingly kind people. We had the chance to contemplate breathtaking views in Zerkten, Tuama, Ighrem n’ugdal, see the spectacular Todras Gorge, and much more. Our stay at Riad Gabsi in Dades was perfect! Warm welcome, beautiful room and excellent cuisine with Moroccan flavors ❤️ The dunes of the Merzouga desert were the most beautiful moment of the trip for us. We took a camel ride, contemplated the sunset, listened to traditional music, contemplated the stars and saw the sunrise in the calm and serenity that the greatness of the desert offers. I would like to thank our guide Said for his kindness, his judicious advice, the explanations that have made it possible to better know and understand the people and culture of Morocco, his reassuring benevolence. The organization of this excursion was perfect and everything was well chosen. CHOUKRAN 🙏 I highly recommend and without hesitation! ❤️❤️
Response from the operator: Bonsoir Melissa, merci beaucoup pour vos gentils mots. Nous sommes ravis d'apprendre que vous avez apprécié votre excursion dans le désert avec nous. Nous espérons vous accueillir à nouveau très prochainement. Merci. Bien cordialement. L'équipe du; Morocco Desert Merzouga.

Morocco of wonders
A surprise continues! The elegance of Rabat, the charm of Chefchaquen, the wonder of the Atlas Mountains, the dromedaries and the dawn of the desert, the "finger monkeys" to finish in the explosion of Marrakech. Everything organized impeccably by Said, always on time and helpful. Many km but also many good memories brought home

Exceptional experience.
Had an amazing trip to Merzouga. We booked a 3-day trip and were picked up in a SUV from our Riad. The car was comfortable and the driver was experienced. On the way to Merzouga we stopped at all the touristic spots and had plenty of time to take pictures and enjoy the views. We spent the night at an wonderul Riad with Dinner and Breakfast served. The next day we continued the drive to Merzouga. Once arrived we drove a buggy through the desert and took a camel ride to the camp. With astonishing views and perfect guidance. Very Very much recommended for everyone.

Why this scores 68
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech cost?
+
Prices start at €310 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 3 Days Sahara Desert Trip from Fes to Marrakech?
+
