Thank you Ali,Thank you Saha Tours! You are the best!💪💪💪

The trip to Morocco and the exploration of Marrakech were truly unforgettable.🕌✨ Marrakech instantly captures your heart with the vibrant colors of its markets, the aromas and spices, and the unique atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fnaa, filled with music, performances, and traditional food. An experience I highly recommend to anyone wanting to discover the authentic Moroccan culture. The magic continued in the Merzouga desert: riding a dromedary, witnessing the vast dunes, and embracing the absolute silence offered a unique sense of freedom and connection with nature.🐪🌅 A special thanks to our guide, Ali.👏👏👏Thanks to him, every moment in Morocco was filled with joy, fascinating stories, and unforgettable experiences. 🙌🙌🙌

Great experience - first timer

Absolutely thrilled about our recent private 3-day desert tour! Ismail, our incredibly friendly and English-fluent driver, truly made the trip exceptional. The desert stay was comfortable, offering proper bathroom facilities, December desert nights were chilly— heads-up to bundle up warmly! The staff, spoke multiple languages, were incredibly warm and welcoming. The facilities were clean but also beautifully presented. Following the desert adventure, we spent a night at Sultan Dades, which added another layer of charm to our journey. Ismail's dedication and attentiveness were beyond impressive; he consistently made regular stops, allowing us to capture stunning moments and take in the breathtaking scenery along the way. Our group had someone unwell, Ismail's quick thinking led us to a pharmacy, despite the rarity of them being open on that day, ensuring our friend received the necessary medication promptly. Overall, it was an incredibly heartwarming and delightful experience, all thanks to Ismail's exceptional service and the warmth of the entire team involved. Highly recommended for a memorable adventure.

Wonderful tour, where we were well looked after!

This was an amazing 3 days 2 night private tour to the Sahara desert from Marrakech. We were picked up at our riad spot on time in a clean and very comfortable minivan. We stopped off at various scenic spots for refreshments and photo ops and our guide and driver Ismail was helpful in pointing out interesting spots and of course, taking photos! He was full of great knowledge and tried to tell us more about his beautiful country. When one of our party was unwell, Ismail looked after us and took us to a pharmacy. Our night in the Sahara desert at Amanar Camp was the highlight of our tour! The sunset camel ride followed by dinner and music and dancing by the fire will stay in my mind forever! Our 'tent' was more like a hotel room, with a hot shower and our own toilet! One tip for future travellers, bring lots of warm clothes as the desert is SO cold at night (we travelled in December) Overall, this was a superb introduction to a lovely country. I would highly recommend this tour as I felt safe and well looked after throughout. I will also offer my heartfelt thanks to Ismail, our guide and driver who made sure our trip was a fantastic one! Shukran!

Experience of lifetime

This was definitely the experience of a lifetime, thanks in large part to our amazing guide, Mahjoub. He took such great care of us, at every step of the journey, and opened our eyes to the real Morocco by answering all our questions about life in the country. Additionally, the camp experience far exceeded our expectations. The sunset camel ride, the accommodations (slept so well!), the meals, the entertainment - all of it. Everything was so well executed and everyone was so warm and friendly. I cannot recommend this enough and hope you’re fortunate enough to have Mahjoub as your guide, too ♥️

3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech cost?

+

Prices start at $135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 79 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 97 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 144 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech?

+

Around 34 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Days Private Tour to Merzouga Desert from Marrakech start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, From Marrakech To Essaouira Mogador Full Day Trip | Small-group, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
