An amazing guide in an amazing city

First of all, our guide Manuel contacted me and communicated with me before I arrived in Lisbon. I was never guessing when or where we were to meet him. Manuel offered us an off the beaten path experience on my 3rd and final day and it was the best. He picked us up on the first day and we toured the old city. He drove around and showed us the sights, then we parked and walked around a not so touristy/crowded part ot the city. He catered the experience to what we wanted and was full of stories and information. We went to surprise places that most other tourists do not know about. The Sintra palace tours on the second day was great as well. On his recommendation, we left early and arrived at the town center before all the tour buses arrived. We were able to tour the most popular palace-Pena and again received a wealth of information from Manuel. We opted to go to a smaller coastal village and had a great view of Capo da Roca. We visited another palace on our way back to Lisbon. We asked to be dropped off at the Discoverer's monument and made our way back to the hotel in an Uber (very inexpensive). On the third day, we asked Manuel to suggest places other than the normal tourist destinations based on what he thought we would like after spending 2 days with us. We were wowed by his itinerary. He showed us the Salinas do Samouco, an out of the way place that is amazing if you like nature and outdoors. We purchased Flower Salt (unknown to us). We also visited a few more quaint little towns that had beautiful traditional Portugese houses and flavor. Then we went to the Palmela and visited a castle/convent. It was quiet and relaxing to walk around this very old and historically rich site, Afterwards, we stopped in Setubal and visited the famous market where we bought some fresh fruits. We drove through the Parque Natural da Arrabida and was shown spectacular view points. The crown jewel of the day was visiting a tile maker where tiles are designed and handmade. What an amazing adventure. Thank you Manuel for making our first (and certainly not the last) time in Lisbon a memorable one. Manuel is very knowledgeable, full of information and is extremely passionate about his work. I love his enthusiasm and his energy and love of his work transferred to us, We love Lisbon because of him.

Response from the operator: Dear Jinny Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback on behalf of both Manuel and myself, Hugo, at Walkborder Tours. We are truly grateful to hear how much you enjoyed your experience with us. Manuel always goes above and beyond to create a unique and personal experience for each guest, and it’s wonderful to know that his passion for Portugal's rich history and hidden gems resonated with you. We take great pride in offering something beyond the typical tourist path, and your glowing review of your time in Lisbon, Sintra, and beyond is exactly what we aim for. We are thrilled that your first time in Lisbon was so memorable, and we hope to welcome you back for more adventures in the future! Best regards, Hugo Gonçalves & Manuel Walkborder Tours

3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.

How much does 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon cost?

    +

Prices start at $220 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.

Is 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Days Private Tour In Lisbon start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lisbon?

    +

On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lisbon?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lisbon?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
