Disappointed
The initial communications from the travel company were very lacking. I messaged 3 or 4 times 1 and 2 days prior to this expensive 3 day booking. Finally, the day before, I got a message apologizing and stating that due to a staff emergency they had to switch guides and requested a 3 hour delay in our start time, costing us a morning with no plans. Our guide, Nikan, although a very lovely person, did not have much knowledge or passion for Paris. When we requested a deviation in his planned route bc it didn’t appeal or we’d seen it already he seemed to agree but then took us there anyway. It was like he didn’t know what else to do beyond a single planned route. We were not impressed with restaurant recommendations, none of them turned out. We enjoyed his company but as a tour and as a guide this 3 day tour fell very flat.
Response from the operator: Dear Pam, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. First, we would like to apologize for the disruption caused by the last-minute guide change. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected staff emergency, we had to make adjustments shortly before your tour. We contacted you as soon as possible and greatly appreciated your flexibility in agreeing to the revised start time. Regarding the tour itself, we respectfully feel that some aspects of your experience may differ from how they were perceived on our side. Before and throughout the tour, the guide worked with you to adjust the itinerary based on your interests, previous visits to Paris, and the attractions you had already booked separately. Over the course of three days, a substantial number of major landmarks and neighborhoods were visited, with the route tailored to avoid duplicating experiences you had already planned independently. We are pleased to hear that you found Nikan to be a lovely companion during your stay. He genuinely cares about his guests and made every effort to accommodate your requests, including providing restaurant recommendations and assisting with dining options. While we understand that not every recommendation ultimately worked out as hoped, many of the suggested venues are highly regarded local establishments. That said, we fully recognize that every traveler has different expectations regarding guiding style, depth of commentary, and pacing. We are sorry that the experience did not resonate with you in the way you had anticipated. We sincerely appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our tours and ensuring that future guests have the best possible experience. Kind regards,

With Camila, even the statues of Paris seem to whisper their secrets.
Bonjour to my American friends! If you’re planning a trip to France, you simply must experience a tour with Camila—an exceptional historian, captivating storyteller, and the kind of warm, genuine person who quickly feels like a friend you didn’t know you had. Camila is truly a rare gem. She thoughtfully tailors every detail of your journey, ensuring your time in France is not just enjoyable, but absolutely unforgettable. Traveling with her was an absolute joy. Her deep passion and profound knowledge of Parisian history are remarkable. I was completely mesmerized by her ability to bring centuries-old art and history—to life in such a vivid, engaging way. Camila has a gift for transforming every street and landmark into a living story—from the breathtaking elegance of the Palace of Versailles to the charm of local neighborhoods and bustling markets. Her exuberant, fun-loving spirit made every moment memorable—whether we were navigating the métro, discovering incredible Parisian cuisine, uncovering hidden shopping gems, or enjoying unique cultural experiences like seeing Napoleon’s authentic hat. Every moment was a pleasure. This was more than a tour—it was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Camila, I’ve fallen in love with Paris and already can’t wait to return. Please contact me should you want to hear my experience with Camila first hand, I would be delighted. Liz and Michael B. Boston,MA

Excellent Street Tour Covering the Critical Sections of Paris
Sunny was our guide on this 3 day street tour of Paris. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the different districts (arrondissements) in Paris. My family of 5 (with teenagers) greatly enjoyed the tour and I would highly recommend the tour.

Horrific experience in Paris
It was the worst experience I have ever had. Customer Service was awful as well. I will never ever do any business with viator and never recommend it. Stay away from this company!!
Response from the operator: Hello Nataliya, We're sorry you were not satisfied with our tour. We provided the best guide for our tour with you, but after first day you complained you do not like the guide and want a replacement. We replaced the guide, as per your request, but you suddenly changed your mind and told us you no longer want any other guide either. Please let us know if there's anything we can do to make you happy. We'll gladly do that

Why this scores 57
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 days in Paris with a Private Guide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide cost?
+
Prices start at $759 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 57 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 days in Paris with a Private Guide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
