Incredible 3-day desert escape with Moroccan Travel!
If you only have 3 days, this is the tour to do. We went with Moroccan Travel and they made sure we saw the best of the Atlas Mountains, Aït Benhaddou, and the Gorges without it feeling like a rushed 'tourist trap.' The highlight was definitely the desert camp in Erg Chebbi. The food was delicious, and the drumming around the campfire under the stars is something I’ll never forget. Huge thanks to our guide for making us feel so welcome and sharing the history of the Berber culture with us. It felt much more personal than the big group tours we saw along the way. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing Experience at the Sahara
My wife brought me to Marrakech for my bday and booked this experience to go to The Sahara. Said picked us up at the Riad and drove us for 10hrs to the Desert. Said was friendly and knowledgeable. He made stops at suggested places to eat, rest a little, and even made some diviatios to important sites he thought we should see. Without Said I wouldn’t have want to do this 10hr drive. This company is very lucky to have such an amazing person to work for them. I felt like Said was family !!! Thank you Said for making this trip and amazing experience I will never forget.

An Unforgettable Private Sahara Escape – 5-Star Service!
If you are planning a desert trip from Marrakech, I cannot recommend this company enough. We were initially undecided between a group or private tour, but choosing the private tour was the best decision we made. From the initial inquiry to the final drop-off, the experience was seamless, professional, and high-end. The Guide: Abdul Hamid The heart of our trip was our guide/driver, Abdul Hamid. He is much more than a driver; he is an incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating host. His English is excellent, and he shared so much history and culture that the driving time passed incredibly quickly. He was patient and never rushed us at any of the scenic stops. Highlights of the Trip: • Accommodations: Our night in the Dades Valley was spectacular. The Riad was top-class, featuring one of the best dinners and breakfasts we’ve ever had. • The Luxury Camp: The desert tent was amazing—it had a private bathroom, heater, and a very comfortable bed. My wife loved the experience of being under the stars without sacrificing any comfort. • The Food: A standout moment was Abdul Hamid treating us to traditional Saharan Pizza (Madfouna) cooked in the sand—it was delicious! The Lamb Tagine at the desert camp was also a 10/10. • Activities: The 40-minute camel trek at sunset was magical, and the quad biking was well-organized and a total blast. Final Verdict: This company knows how to host. If you want a mix of adventure, luxury, and authentic Moroccan hospitality, do not hesitate to book with them. Thank you, Abdul Hamid, for making our Saharan dream a reality!

Private tour is the best experience ever!
We had an amazing 3-day experience! We book the private tour with Mohammed and Sara. Both were lovely, so helpful and very informative. Our driver Hassan was amazing, he knows all the places and gives you a lot of insight on the way to Merzouga. Everything went smoothly: from our pickup to our drop off in Marrakech, so well organised and coordinated. We really recommend the private tour, as the level of comfort is incredible. Our luxury camp was great and the food was amazing. The only suggestion we want to make is about lunch options, there are way better places to have lunch on the way to Merzouga than the tourist ones. We loved the Moroccan cuisine and we wanted to explore the flavours all the way, by choosing Moroccan local restaurants and dishes. As a traveller, it’s a pitty to spend money in tourist places where the food is not as good as it supposed to be. We were on a private tour so we did our research and we chose the places we wanted to have lunch, and they didn’t disappoint! This is our only suggestion to Sara and Mohammed, they put so much effort into organising the perfect tour, the only thing that completes this is good food! Thank you for everything Sara, Mohammed and Hassan. It was a pleasure travelling with you!😍

Highly recommend Moroccan Travel. Ibrahim and Sara you are the BEST!!
From travel planning to execution Moroccan Travel went above and beyond to give my family an incredible first experience of Africa and specifically Morocco. I started working with Sara on a 3 day, 5 day itenary then extended to 7 day custom itenary that not only covered all cities but also at a pace that my family is used to. Kudos to Sara for seamless planning, organizing and Ibrahim for driving us safely and comfortably 7 days and guiding us through different cities, culture and traditions. We had luxurious travel experience at a highly competitive price - Moroccan travel pricing is 30% less than the other travel agencies I got quote from.

Why this scores 62
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou cost?
+
Prices start at €240 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 11 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days From Fes to Marrakech Via Sahara Desert and Ait Ben Haddou start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
