    To repeat...

Sympathy, funny moments, cultural opportunities (what a musician...), and lots of concern in what matters to people security, that's what you get... Many thanks Said, the happy and blessed, for the past three days!

What an absolutely amazing experience!!! 🇲🇦

My partner and I are from Canada, and we booked the 3-day, 2-night Morocco tour with high expectations, but honestly, the tour surpassed them in every possible way. It was one of the highlights of our trip and easily one of the best organized tours we’ve ever experienced. The Sahara Desert was absolutely breathtaking. There is something truly unforgettable about watching the landscape change as you travel deeper into the desert, and the entire experience felt like a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Our first-night accommodations were very clean, comfortable, and well organized in the Sahara and the second night was by far the nicest accommodation we have experienced during our travels in Morocco, a beautiful room and an incredible pool. It was the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. The food throughout the entire tour was fantastic. Every meal was delicious, plentiful, and, perhaps most importantly for us as travellers with somewhat sensitive stomachs, we had absolutely no issues whatsoever. We were able to enjoy the incredible Moroccan cuisine without having to worry about getting sick. The value for money is unbelievable. The sheer number of incredible places, landscapes, markets, cultural sites, and viewpoints you experience over just three days makes this tour worth every single cent. It felt like almost every hour of travelling in the clean, comfortable Sprinter van brought something new and spectacular to see. From breathtaking vistas and beautiful villages to fascinating markets and cultural landmarks, you get to experience such a huge and diverse part of Morocco in a relatively short amount of time. One thing I especially want to emphasize is how safe we felt throughout the entire tour. As two Canadians travelling through a country that was completely new to us, we were naturally unsure of what to expect. But from the moment the tour started, we felt incredibly safe, comfortable, and reassured. At every stop, we felt looked after, and that peace of mind made it so much easier to relax and fully enjoy the experience. Finally, everything that said to be included in the tour free of a charge was indeed FREE! Visiting the monkeys, the camels into the Sahara desert, the sand boarding down the dunes, the breathtaking, waterfalls, and the stop in the beautiful gorge. The only thing that cost an extra 150 dirhams, was the Atlas movie studio, which me and my partner opted out of so we can enjoy a nice coffee and reminisce about what experience we had at a local café. And finally, a HUGE thank you to our incredible guide, SALAH! ⭐️ Salah truly went above and beyond and was a huge reason this tour was a 10/10 experience. He didn’t simply drive us from one destination to another — he made the entire journey meaningful. He explained local customs, pointed out landmarks and shared the history behind them, answered all of our questions, and gave us a genuine insight into Moroccan culture and everyday life. What made Salah particularly special was hearing his personal stories about growing up in the Sahara and living in Morocco. Those stories gave us a perspective that you simply cannot get from a guidebook or by travelling independently. His warmth, genuine hospitality, knowledge, and willingness to help made us feel like we were travelling with a friend rather than simply being part of a tour group. I’ve had similar guided experiences in several different countries, and I can honestly say that Salah’s genuine warmth, helpfulness, and hospitality were unparalleled. If you are able to request a guide when booking this tour, I would highly recommend requesting Salah. He absolutely made the experience for us. If you’re looking for an affordable, safe, incredibly scenic, and unforgettable way to see a huge swath of Morocco, I cannot recommend this tour enough. Thank you, Salah, for making our trip so special — and thank you, Morocco, for giving us a once-in-a-lifetime experience. 🇲🇦❤️

    Absolutely INCREDIBLE and life-changing experience.

I can not recommend this tour enough. It was absolutely phenomenal. Salah, our guide and driver, was an exceptional guide and pointed things out amd explained interesting facts about the Berber and Moroccan culture that we would have never known. Salah was a great driver, a very kind man, and his humour and enthusiasm truly made the trip so amazing and fun. Starting with our roadtrip from Fes, we stopped in Ifrane which was beautiful and our guide, Salah, was sure to stop at every breathtaking lookout spot and took great pictures of all of us. Getting into our trek into the Sahara, Salah helped everyone on the tour tie their headscarves and took photos of us before we left to take the camels. Our camel guides were fantastic, bringing us into the dunes at sunrise and taking amazing photos for us. Upon reaching the camp, the staff there were very welcoming and brought us into our stunning glamping tents which were very clean and comfortable. Dinner was incredibly delicious. We finished the night with a big campfire with music and dancing. Our second day took us through Rissani where we learned more about the Berber culture, then we went through the Todra Gorge which was honestly so incredible and certainly not to be missed. Out hotel for the evening was so beautiful (it had a bar and a pool!) and comfortable and dinner was once again delicious. This has truly been a once in a lifetime experience and I will tell everyone I know to book this trip if they come to Morocco. I will certainly tell them to request Salah as their guide because he was truly just such a delight and we have felt like we made a lifelong friend. Thank you Salah for a wonderful journey!!! If you are thinking about booking this tour, do it. You will have the time of your life❤️✌️🇲🇦

    Experience the Desert

The tour was amazing, an incredible experience in the Sahara Desert. The price was great for the inclusions, like the breakfast and dinner, the two nights of accommodation and the activities. Said Arfoud was a great driver and we felt safe the whole time. The bus was comfortable with good air conditioning and phone chargers. The group size was also good, there were just over 10 of us. There are a lot of hours on the bus involved in the tour, but it’s necessary as you cover a lot of ground and the scenery is always so interesting. There are also plenty of breaks. My only feedback is that the places we stopped for lunch were not the best value or the best food you’d have in Morocco.

Fez to Marrakesh and many cities in between.

The moment we got picked up from the hotel by our wonderful guide Said Arfoud, our trip became a better experience. Since we left the hotel early nobody was available to serve breakfast but as soon as we told Said, he made sure to stop at a restaurant and got us something to eat. That’s one of the many things he did for us as a family and for all of us as a group. He also kept us updated on when and where the next stop was. I would definitely recommend him and his very comfortable bus.

    +

Around 61 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Fez can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Fez and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

    +

On Outty we rank every Fez experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Fes to Marrakech: Merzouga & Ait Ben Haddou, 3 Days 2 Nights, Fes to Marrakech desert tour 3 days, 2Days groupe Tour Fes To Fes Or Marrakech Via Sahara Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Fez?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Fez?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.

What is included in 3 Days Desert tour from Fez to Marrakesh via Merzouga Erg chebbi?

    +
