Beautiful 3 days trip in the heart of Morocco
Outstanding trip from Marracash to Merzouga through some of the main touristic spot in Morocco, ending whit a nice camping under the stars in the middle of the desert. It was very nice getting to the camping on camel back, and I strongly suggest the luxury camp instead of the standard, and also the ATV tour in the dunes. On top of that Zaky is a very nice and polite guide, spoke 5 language and knows a lot about his country. Very recommended for couples, family and groups of friends also.

Top Experience
Excursion that everyone who goes to Marrakech should do compulsorily; although it is a little tired because it is many hours of bus time, do not hesitate to do it because it is an enriching experience and another way to know Morocco, the less tourist life, and Berber. Camel ride, beautiful sunset and sunrise in the desert, coexistence in haima with Berbers, visits to other villages and incredible nature areas. All this thanks to the driver-guide Zacarias Elkhal, a very friendly, friendly and cheerful boy, who explained things and gave us advice; he was watching that the group did not lack anything and willing to cover our needs; we were enlivened by the trip with music, jokes, conversations as he speaks Spanish, English, French, some German, and Arabic. So if you book the tour (I did it through Get your Guide) and your driver is Zakaria, you will surely end up with a very good taste in your mouth.

Merzouga Sahara Bus Tour
I had an amazing experience with Zakaria Elkhao. He was an amazing tour guide, full of charisma. He made the experience infinitely more enjoyable. On top of his amazing personality, Zaki was extremely intelligent and spoke many languages. Our group had members that spoke Arabic, French, German, and English; all of which he could speak in. I would recommend this trip to anyone if they are looking for an amazing experience in Morocco.

Incredibly unique experience!!!!!
We were a group of 5 girls where we lived a very pleasant experience of three days from Marrakech to Sahara Merjuca! Zakarias Elkhal is an excellent guide where he was there willing to tell us the history of each area we visited!! He owns a great "bravo" and a " congratulations" for the view and organized unforgettable experience he gave us!!! Also very good driver, there was not a moment when we did not feel confident with his driving. We will definitely pick him again for some other escape to the cities of Morocco. We highly recommend it!!! We stayed completely satisfied! Thank you for everything!

Experience three days at a time of the desert.
Great experience. Super helpful guide to any kind of request. We left Marrakech airport for the Merzouga desert through the places and traditions of Morocco. Excellent accommodation and overnight stay also in terms of cleanliness and sanctity safety. The guide speaks Italian, Spanish and German. Choose him and you won't regret it. Thank you, Zagaria.

3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands cost?
+
Prices start at €470 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Days and 2 Nights from Marrakech to Merzouga’s Golden Sands start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
