    Absolutely worth it!

We went on safari with my wife and it turned out to be an amazing experience. Our driver, Alex, was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we learned about every animal we encountered. We especially enjoyed Ngorongoro National Park, absolutely worth it! The whole trip was well organized, comfortable, and filled with great moments.

Waste of time and bad faith

Too much approximation in the content of the offer, hidden or imprecise information that harmed the experience of our safari Make sure to lock everything in writing and in detail with the agency to avoid unpleasant surprises (choice of hotel, content of the service...)

Response from the operator: Dear Laasad It was great to read your review of your Tanzania safari Tour with Migration Venture Africa. We hosted your 4 Days 3 Nights Tarangire Ngorongoro Crater & Serengeti, all the logistics as per our agreement which destinations to and which accommodations to use and all the document you received and accepted. For the Nyerere Safari you only rented transport from us Dar Esalaam to Nyerere and then after 3 days we then dropped you off at Dar salaam we had nothing do with all other logistic for Nyerere as you did on your own, paying all the fees, activities and accommodations. Sorry where you thought it was our fault while not you booked everything at Nyerere on your own with the Lodge where you addressed us to drop you and pickup With Kind Regards Amos

Our tour guide, Karim, was knowledgeable and friendly. The tour provided amazing accommodations and meals. We really enjoyed learning from Karim about the animals and the area in general— he even taught us some Swahili! Doing the three day safari was so fun because we saw so many amazing animals. I’ll never forget spending so much time in nature and it was also neat to meet some Masai people. Our guide Karim really made it a better experience with his enthusiasm and kindness. Thank you so much!! We loved it!

    Stunning safari to Tanzania

Our Udzungwa Safari, Nyerere National Park, and Mkomazi adventure with my girlfriend Angeline was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, this journey took us through some of Tanzania’s most stunning and remote landscapes, making it a trip we’ll never forget. We began our journey in Udzungwa Mountains National Park, which was a true hidden gem. The lush forests, vibrant waterfalls, and diverse wildlife made for a perfect start to our safari. Hiking through the park to reach the waterfalls was an experience of its own—each step we took led us deeper into nature’s beauty, with breathtaking views at every turn. We also encountered various species of monkeys, birds, and even some elusive forest creatures, making the hike even more rewarding. Next, we ventured to Nyerere National Park, formerly known as Selous Game Reserve. This vast wilderness left us in awe. The sheer size of the park and the variety of wildlife we encountered was amazing. We saw herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, and buffaloes roaming freely in their natural habitat. The boat safaris on the Rufiji River were a highlight—cruising through the calm waters, we saw hippos and crocodiles, along with an abundance of birdlife. Nyerere gave us a truly authentic, untamed safari experience. Finally, we explored Mkomazi National Park, a lesser-known but equally stunning destination. The park’s remote location and peaceful atmosphere made it feel like we had the entire wilderness to ourselves. We got the chance to spot the rare African wild dogs and observe the thriving populations of elephants and giraffes in the park’s varied habitats. The blend of savannah, mountains, and wetlands created the perfect environment for both wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Throughout the entire trip, Migration Venture Africa provided impeccable service. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring we didn’t miss a single moment of magic in these parks. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore Tanzania’s wild beauty together. This adventure with Angeline will forever hold a special place in our hearts. The combination of thrilling wildlife sightings, stunning landscapes, and the deep connection to nature made this safari an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Migration Venture Africa, for making it all possible!

    Selous Is Magical

We ought to have done this tour longtime ago but we really did not know that there are other fantastic areas to visit in Tanzania. Selous proved to be a hidden gem that's off the beaten path away from the crowds. From the moment we landed in Tanzania we found that Amos had taken care of all the logistics starting with the prompt airport pickup, the nice hotel in Dar and the safari to Selous. We opted to go by road to Selous and its rather a long drive through the countryside dotted with few settlements along the way. Our guide James drove the 4x4 vehicle carefully even past the bitumen section leading to the expansive park. Selous is really beautiful and well conserved with a mix of marshes, woodlands, grasslands and river line forests. The mix of wild animals and birds were accessible by land and also by boat. We also enjoyed an afternoon fishing in Rufiji River and had a decent catch. The lodge in Selous was excellent. It was along the Rufiji River and we could actually see the hippos from our room. In a nutshell our experience in Selous, albeit short proved to be wonderful and unforgettable. The number of animals that we saw with James is mindboggling and the park is really unspoilt. We will be returning to Selous soon

3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Dar es Salaam.

How much does 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari cost?

    +

Prices start at $950 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Dar es Salaam usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Dar es Salaam is not rushed.

Is 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Dar es Salaam, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Dar es Salaam can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Dar es Salaam and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Days 2 Nights Nyerere National park Lodge Wildlife Safari start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Dar es Salaam within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Dar es Salaam?

    +

On Outty we rank every Dar es Salaam experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 nights 3 days safari to mikumi national park, 1-Day Mikumi National Park Fly-In Safari from Zanzibar, 3 Days Safari to Mikumi NP - Accommodation Inside the Park. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Dar es Salaam?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Dar es Salaam?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
