    Good Sahara camel desert tour

The tour guide was very helpful and kind. We were picked up from our accommodation and taken on a drive through the Gateway of the Sahara. We stopped by a town, Kasbah where we saw old forts and a tour guide took us on a hike. Then we proceeded on our tour and got to the desert where we rode camels to the tents at sundown.

Response from the operator: Dear aadithya!! Thank you for your lovely review! We're so happy to hear that you enjoyed the trip, especially the visit to the Kasbah and the camel ride at sunset. It’s great to know that our driver took good care of you throughout the journey. We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back to Morocco in the future!

One of the best experiences I ever had 😍

We had an incredible desert tour experience from start to finish. The journey was very well organised, with plenty of stops along the way to stretch our legs, use the facilities, and take beautiful photos of the changing landscapes. Every stop felt perfectly timed and never rushed. The visit to the ancient kasbah was absolutely amazing full of history and breathtaking views. The dramatic canyon scenery was equally impressive and gave us some unforgettable photo moments. The camel ride into the desert exceeded all expectations and was truly unforgettable. Watching the sunset over the dunes and waking up early for the magical sunrise were the highlights of the trip. Our guide was outstanding, explaining everything clearly and sharing fascinating insights about the country and local culture. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Dear howelll!! Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed every part of the journey, from the kasbah and canyon visits to the unforgettable camel ride and desert sunrise. It's especially rewarding to know that our guide helped make the experience even more meaningful with insights into Morocco's culture and history. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

    Definitely worth it

From beginning to end, it was easily one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Everything ran seamlessly, the people we met were warm and genuinely welcoming, and we were surrounded by an incredible number of jaw-dropping landscapes. On top of that, we had the chance to truly experience local traditions and, of course, the desert itself. The whole journey was well-organized and engaging, with constant attention to making sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Our entire group of 19 couldn’t have been happier. Support was always there whenever we needed it, and the people we met along the way were eager to share their culture and answer our questions - even if it meant staying up until the early hours of the morning. Knowing now what the experience offers, I would honestly pay three times the price without hesitation.

Response from the operator: Dear viktorija: Thank you so much for your amazing review! We're truly delighted to hear that the tour was one of the best experiences you've ever had. It means a lot to know that you enjoyed the landscapes, the desert, and the opportunity to connect with local culture and traditions. We're especially happy that your entire group had such a memorable time. Your kind words and support are greatly appreciated, and we hope to welcome you back to Morocco again someday!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 3 day Sahara desert tour from Marrakech with luxury desert camp cost?

    +

Prices start at $140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 day Sahara desert tour from Marrakech with luxury desert camp take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 3 day Sahara desert tour from Marrakech with luxury desert camp worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 day Sahara desert tour from Marrakech with luxury desert camp?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 day Sahara desert tour from Marrakech with luxury desert camp suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book 3 day Sahara desert tour from Marrakech with luxury desert camp?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

    +

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
