Amazing experience.
From the moment Ashadu picked us up at our hotel to dropping us back off was magical. He is a very knowledgeable guide full of facts. The journey of 5hrs North took us through small towns until we arrived at Murchison Falls National Park where the adventure continued. The falls / the 3hr cruise on the Nile the 2 games drives, staying over in the lovely accommodation, each had their own story to tell. This was my 1st Safari in Africa and won't be my last. Worth every penny spent. Pictures do not do this any justice - you need to see with your own eyes. 👌

Ashadu is the best!!! Such a memorable experience👌🏽
Ashadu was spectacular, the best driver/tour guide and so knowledgeable. Asha was accomodating, easy going and overall so much fun! The tour itself was spectacular, absolutely mesmerising and such a great life experience I’ll forever cherish. Thank you for the hospitality, for ensuring we got value for our money and always going above and beyond. Asha made the experience exceptional and went above and beyond. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it👏🏽🥰

Highly recommend!
I had a wonderful experience! I booked a rhino tracking tour with them at the very last minute, and they couldn’t have been more responsive and accommodating. The booking process was quick and easy, and they offered the best price I could find. My guide, Deo, was extremely friendly and made me feel safe and well taken care of throughout the entire experience. I truly appreciated how smooth everything was from start to finish — highly recommend!

Top class service
From the moment we booked, we were not disappointed with the team from Kafu Safaris. They were highly responsive to emails and helpful with every request. Our safari to Murchison NP in Uganda was the most wonderful experience ever! If we are ever able to return, we will definitely book with Kafu again.

It’s supposed to be an eye opener to safari but believe me Deo made it unforgettable. Defo looking for more trips
I came across this tour operator while scrolling for places to dine on Google maps 🤣 I got intouch cos murchison falls was being advertised to cut short a text later Deos quick response ticked all the boxes within 20 mins we agreed he pick us up for a 3 day safari the following morning this doesn’t happen in Kampala trust me I was born here I know.. the meticulous planning of a trip 7hours by car from Kampala was short of tremendous dedication and genuine care at such short notice. No sales pitch no pushy behavior. Deo even got injured in our pursue of sudden appearance of zebras at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary but he didn’t give up. We were a bit squeezed for time but he managed to stay out until we found simba or mamma simba at this point 8hrs into the journey always a plus cos everyone is looking for the king of the jungle or the family and he stayed out late so we got a glimpse of simbas mama. The lodges he organised were just amazing comfortable and fit for purpose. Morning drive ceaser and boat cruise to the falls were just spectacular. Honestly words can’t do justice to this experience. He has gone above and beyond what we expected and never in doubt at anytime we were in safe hands

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.
How much does 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking cost?
+
Prices start at $651 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.
Is 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3-Day Murchison Falls Safari and Ziwa Rhino Tracking start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kampala?
+
On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kampala?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kampala?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
