Amazing experience! Worth it. Great driver.

Jesse was recommended to us by friends and we were very happy with the itinerary and our trip. Seeing the gorillas is truly an amazing experience. Well worth it! We started and ended in Kigali rather than Kampala and that was a great option. A big shout out and thank you to our driver and guide Chris Atumanya. He made the experience very enjoyable. He was professional, very knowledgeable about the area, ready to help. Made the boarder crossings quick and easy. Would 100% recommend him as a driver/guide.

Incredible experience !

I was referred to Lifetime Experience Safaris by a friend, and from the moment I reached out to them Jesse-Thomas made me feel that this would actually be a lifetime experience. He simply asked me what my preferences were and took off from there. All I had to do is show up . My guide Chris Atumanya took care of everything , from pick and transport, border crossings , check ins and permits . I would highly recommend Lifetime Experience Safaris. In fact I plan to do a longer trip in Uganda with friends and they will be the the company I book with. In a world where service is lacking , they shined bright !

A great experience - thanks to Lifetime Safaris

Great company. Jesse has an amazing wealth of travel knowledge and uses it to ensure anyone choosing Lifetime Safaris will have a memorable and amazing experience. He was quick to respond to our emails, and was patient with our changing plans! Abaas was a great driver, great company, with fab driving skills and a good knowledge of all wildlife and plantlife which we came across. He ensured we had a great time away.

Fantastic gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi

I had an amazing time with Lifetime Safaris, the organization and payment process went smoothly through the organizer Jesse and my guide Roland was a pleasure to be around. I was picked up at Kigali airport, transferred to Bwindi (incl a smooth border crossing into Uganda), we stayed at Bakiga Lodge (super friendly staff) and brought back after an amazing trekking experience with the gorillas.

3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.

How much does 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest cost?

+

Prices start at $1466 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.

Is 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 14. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 -Day Private Gorilla Trekking Safari in Bwindi Forest start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kampala?

+

On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kampala?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kampala?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
