Exceptional Service from Start to Finish – Highly Recommend Pamoja Tour

We booked our 3-day Murchison Falls safari with Pamoja Tour, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. From the beginning, our tour contact, Regina, was outstanding. She was always quick to respond, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything went smoothly. Her professionalism and sincerity gave me the confidence to book with Pamoja Tour, and I'm so glad I did. Our guide, Hamindu, was friendly, knowledgeable, and always eager to help us spot wildlife. Murchison Falls National Park is absolutely stunning, with incredible wildlife and breathtaking scenery. The Nile boat cruise was another highlight, and we were especially lucky to see a shoebill, making the experience even more memorable. The lodge exceeded our expectations—it was clean, comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff took great care of us throughout our stay. What impressed me most was Pamoja Tour's attention to detail. They arranged a complimentary airport transfer, our driver was always punctual and polite, and Regina was always available whenever we had questions. She even checked in after we arrived at the airport to make sure everything had gone smoothly. Everything was well organized, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the trip. If I visit Uganda again, I would definitely choose Pamoja Tour again. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, and caring tour operator.

A fantastic, bounding experience and also very exciting.

This tour was a fantastic experience and my tour guide was very friendly and helpful ensuring that I got the most out of the tour. There was a concern that I wouldn’t be able to do the Murchison falls boat tour but my guide managed to sort it out. Murchison falls was a breathtaking experience with a beautiful walk along the river, the rhinos was a fantastic experience being able to walk closely up to them through the park. And the boat tour up the Nile was one of the most beautiful experiences with the amount of wildlife I saw. Would highly recommend this tour.

Fantastic Pamoja Tours safari to Murchison for solo female traveller - recommended!

Absolute perfection from start to finish. I can’t recommend this tour and this company highly enough. I had just a few days added to a business trip and Regina at Pamoja helped me plan a fantastic solo itinerary to Murchison. As a solo female traveller I always felt safe and respected throughout my trip. The tour was brilliantly organised and my guide, David, was so knowledgeable. With his help I was able to see an incredible amount of wildlife despite my short stay - animals I would never have spotted otherwise! He had fantastic knowledge of wildlife and never tired of my endless questions - thanks David! Highly recommended - and don’t be put off by low season/rainy season - with a knowledgeable guide and some good fortune you will have an incredible experience.

Response from the operator: Dear Alison, Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that you had such a memorable experience with us and felt safe and well taken care of throughout your solo adventure. It was a pleasure planning your trip, and David will be so happy to hear your kind words. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back again someday! Warm regards, Pamoja Tours & Travel Team

3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kampala.

How much does 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari cost?

+

Prices start at $1000 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kampala usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kampala is not rushed.

Is 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kampala, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 2. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari?

+

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kampala can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kampala and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3 Day Murchison Falls' BIG 5 and Wildlife viewing Safari start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kampala within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Kampala?

+

On Outty we rank every Kampala experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Kampala’s Best Experience walking tour, Kampala Walking City Tours (Women-Guided), Kampala Heart of Walking Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Kampala?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Kampala?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
