About this experience
The Mae Hong Son Loop is a comprehensive way to discover one of Thailand´s most authentic provinces. For those wanting to see the real Thailand and wanting to ride a biker´s paradise, the Mae Hong Son Loop is the perfect antidote. Mae Hong Son is the most mountainous province in Thailand and receives little traffic due to its relatively remote location and time needed to reach it. This excursion will take you first to the highest peak of Thailand (Doi Inthanon with 2,565 meters above sea level). Ride along winding and narrow twisty curvy roads with high mountain scenery along the Myanmar border on perfect tarmac roads. 1,864 curves through a vast panorama view of Mae Hong Son and the charming Pai. National Parks and non-touristic places full of unique history and activities.

Superb 3 Days and Introduction to Thailand and Big Bike Tours
Professional and well-planned adventure tour in Thailand made easy, with an excellent selection of bikes of various types and power ratings, all well-maintained from the central HQ. Lead tour guide, backup rider, and support from a 4-wheel-drive pickup with a mechanic adds a lot of confidence that you are in good hands should anything happen.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We're thrilled you appreciated the professional organization and enjoyed the well-maintained bikes and support provided during the tour. We aim to deliver confidence and adventure for all our riders.

An amazing trip
This was an amazing tour. Very professionally organized with transportation to and from the airport and hotels included. The guides for my tour were very knowledgable about the areas that we passed through. At each stop, we were given interesting information about the area, and a detailed synopsis of what to expect on the upcoming leg of the ride. There was never any pressure to ride outside my capabilities and the guide was sure to emphasis to ride at pace that you are comfortable. There was always a guide in front leading and one in back to make sure every rider made it to the next checkpoint. In addition, we were followed by a mechanic in a truck to take care of any issues that came up. The bikes were all wonderfully maintained and in top condition. The path we took was some of the most beautiful country I've seen, and a wonderful introduction to Thailand. We visited small villages and historic sites, along with temples and beautiful scenic viewpoints. Parts of the ride were technically challenging for me, as I've not been on an adventure ride before, but the guides and other riders were always patient and made the whole thing super fun. I learned a lot and had a great time in the process. I'd certainly sign up for this or a longer trip again.
Response from the operator: Thank you, Mike, for sharing such a detailed and heartfelt review! We're thrilled you enjoyed the tour, the guide support, and the stunning routes. It's wonderful to hear it was both enjoyable and a learning experience for you.

+

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Motorcycle Tour (Mae Hong Son Loop) from Chiang Mai, Thailand?

How far in advance should I book 3 Day Motorcycle Tour (Mae Hong Son Loop) from Chiang Mai, Thailand?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?
+
On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Thai and Akha Cooking Class in Chiang Mai. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
