About this experience

An Unhurried, 2-Day Sacred Valley Pace: Standard tours rush through Pisac, Moray, Maras, and Ollantaytambo in a single, exhausting day. We split the valley highlights over two days so you can truly absorb the history, explore hidden corners, and take beautiful photos without feeling rushed. Smarter Altitude Acclimatization: By spending your first night at the lower altitude of the Sacred Valley instead of returning straight to high-altitude Cusco, your body adjusts naturally. This keeps you feeling healthy, comfortable, and energized for your grand finale at Machu Picchu on Day 3. Seamless Logistics & Premium Inclusions: We handle all the stress of coordination. Your premium package completely covers your handpicked hotel stays, scenic train tickets, expert guided tours, entry tickets, and a traditional buffet lunch in the valley.

Absolutely wonderful tour and service

Absolutely wonderful tour. They were really good, right from the start of the enquiry process to the tour itself. Went very very smoothly, was very impressed with the personal attention throughout and the guides were excellent. Cannot recommend this highly enough, an absolutely fantastic holiday.

Response from the operator: Dear Ian, Thank you so much for this fantastic review! We are absolutely delighted to hear that your experience went so smoothly, right from your very first enquiry all the way to the tour itself. Providing personal attention and working with excellent guides is exactly what we strive for, and your high recommendation means the world to us. Warm regards, Machu Picchu Latin America

Top notch trip planner

I did not personally go on the trip. However, I was responsible for planning the trip for a team of 17 people. Fredi was so helpful in the planning and preparation. He made sure that we made all the deadlines to get them into the places they wanted to see. He provided a full itinerary for the team. All the team members reported back to me that the guides were exceptional and when they go back, they want to use those same guides. We had two to get sick from the altitude and the guides knew exactly what to do and were very helpful!

The Absolute Best guides!!

Luis and Joel were absolutely amazing guides! They took care of all 17 of us in our group from the very start. The tours were informative, absolutely beautiful and perfect. 3 days was nowhere enough time in such a beautiful place but a great starter package to know I HAVE to go back! But I won’t go back without these guides!

3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.

How much does 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch) cost?

+

Prices start at $679 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch) take?

+

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.

Is 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch) worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 56 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch)?

+

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch) suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch)?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3-Day Machu Picchu & Sacred Valley Premium Tour (With Lunch) start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cusco?

+

On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Peruvian Cooking Class Cocktails and Market Tour in Cusco, Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cusco?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cusco?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
