Great Camping Lodge at Greater Kruger Area
The lodging was nestled in a quiet area and it was near the game reserves. The tents were very clean and tidy. The beds were also comfortable, they provided many blankets for us to keep warm as they do not have heaters. The food provided at the lodge was also great! The chef was good and cooked exceptionally well. The staff were friendly, offering great hospitality to all of us. The toilets could be maintained a bit better but otherwise it was a great stay!

Amazing and comfortable experience
It was a great experience. Ian, from the Sekekama tent lodge was very helpful, attentive and along with all the camp's staff made sure we had the best experience. The tents are very comfortable and the food is delicious. The transfers are on time and run smooth. The game drives were really exciting and MoAfrika's team goes all the way to try and manage every possible detail to minimize discomfort, such as providing ponchos for the morning drive which gets very cold.

Enjoyable 2 nights at Sekekama
Comfortable and jam-packed 3 days at Sekekama tented village. The accommodation was very comfortable, everywhere is spotlessly clean, beds are very comfortable, tents spacious, bathrooms and showers fine, and very spacious. No air con, but in winter I didn't even need the fan. Thanks to Ian and his team who made us feel welcome and prepared delicious dinners. Sunset drive at Moditlo private reserve on first evening was lovely, I booked a sunrise drive here as an add-on before departure. While the second drive, the driver showed up quite late, this isn't Moafrika's fault, and the reserve was stunning, with a refreshment stop in the bush and superb open vehicles. The full-day in Kruger was amazing too, but there were long stretches of nothing beyond veld and impala, so an extra full day would've been nice. Driver Lambs was great and energetic, but maybe could've explained flora/environment/park history in those long stretches without animals. Transfers to and from Kruger were good with frequent stops, Tiyani was really awesome. A few bits of feedback - FORMS! We had to fill mroe than 5 forms on paper with no clipboard in the vehicles, this was silly. Provide a clipboard and don't duplicate forms. - Food at Sekekama: Breakfast boxes were very basic and minimal, dinner was tasty but just a meat, starch, and two side salads. A dessert would've been nice. More drinks options in the fridge. - More info throughout. E. G. There was an info sheet in tents but this could've been explained by staff, most guests are not familiar with sleeping in a game reserve with dangerous animals potentially about. The same for itineraries, we had to ask when things could've been explained upfront.

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Johannesburg.
How much does 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $10565 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Johannesburg usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Johannesburg is not rushed.
Is 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 62 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 24 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Johannesburg, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 72-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Johannesburg can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Johannesburg and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 3 Day Kruger Glamping Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Johannesburg within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Johannesburg?
+
On Outty we rank every Johannesburg experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Soweto and Johannesburg Exclusive Full Day Guided Tour, Full Day Ultimate Pilanesberg National Park Safari from Johannesburg or Pretoria, Half-Day Tour of Soweto Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Johannesburg?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Johannesburg?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
