We had Omar, and from the moment he helped me organize the event, everything went perfectly: the accommodation, the guides, the tours. Omar truly treated us like royalty, and thank you very much for that, Omar!! Thank you to you and your entire team. The trip to Marrakech was spectacular.

    10/10 experience

We loved our experience with this company, I highly recommend it—our guide, Abraham was so nice and generous! Couldn’t say better things!

    FULLY RECOMMENDED

All very well, since we were picked up at the airport, during the travel days, the very good hotel, the amazing jaimas experience, and especially the attentions of the agency and all the people who attended us on the trip.

I will never forget the deep dusty...

I will never forget the deep dusty rose color of the Sahara in the 1/2 hr after sunset, or the morning ride in the dark, lit only by the amazing brilliance of the stars! That alone made the 13 hr return trip to Marrakech worth it. I also loved the hour long walk through the Berber garden plots in the gorge. For me, this trip was excellent and I strongly recommend it!

That said, some caveats and suggestions:
Don't expect the driver to be a tour guide. You might get lucky, but... Our driver, Yusef, was friendly, competent and helpful when asked for something. He didn't offer any commentary about where we were or even a summary of what to expect when we arrived at a site and were handed over to a local guide. All of whom were excellent, but it seemed at times that communication was lacking between guides, driver and lodging staff.

If you can afford it, reserve a private room and a private tent. I am a 67 yr old solo female traveler, about 40 yrs older than most of the group. I had arranged private sleeping space and was so glad! The first night, people were randomly assigned rooms together. The desert camp has some tents with 5-6 beds- no space at all between them. People were just counted and waved to a tent.

I'd already booked a flight to Marrakech when I decided to do this tour. I wish I'd either done the 4 day Fes to Marrakech tour hard to find going the other way or had been dropped off near Mergouza to catch a grand taxi to Fes. You still pay the full tour price, but save hrs of travel time back to Marrakech.

Worth every penny. This tour is so CHEAP for what you actually get. I highly recommend for anyone wanting to see the Sahara desert. This tour is amazing.

3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp) cost?

    +

Prices start at €135 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp) take?

    +

Plan for about 72 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.9/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp)?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 72-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp)?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 72-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech (Camel Trek and Desert Camp) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

    +

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
