Amazing service
Our three days in the Bale Mountains were honestly one of the highlights of our trip to Ethiopia. From the moment we started the journey, we felt very comfortable and well taken care of. A big thank you to our guide, Thomas, who made the experience so much more special. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. We could tell that he really enjoyed his work and loved sharing the Bale Mountains with us. He knew so much about the wildlife, plants, landscape, and local area, and he always took the time to explain things and answer our questions. We never felt rushed, and whenever we wanted to stop to take photos or simply enjoy the view, he was happy to do so. We also want to give a special thanks to our driver, Efrem. He was calm, careful, and very reliable, which made us feel safe throughout the trip. Some of the mountain roads were quite challenging, but Efrem handled them confidently and carefully. He was also friendly and easy to travel with, which made the long drives much more enjoyable. The Bale Mountains themselves were incredible. The scenery was beautiful and constantly changing, and we had some unforgettable moments seeing the wildlife and taking in the amazing landscapes. It was a completely different experience from anything we had done before. What really made the trip memorable, though, was the people. Thomas and Efrem made us feel more like friends than tourists. They were kind, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed every moment. We left Bale with wonderful memories and lots of photos, but most importantly, with a lot of appreciation for Thomas and Efrem. Thank you both for such a fantastic three days. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone visiting the Bale Mountains. You will be in very good hands!

Three Days of Wild Landscapes, Fresh Air, and Great Memories
A few friends and I joined the 3 Day Bale Mountains Tours with Danakil Depression Tours, and it was exactly the kind of getaway we were hoping for. The scenery changed constantly, from wide mountain landscapes and high-altitude plains to greener areas and beautiful valleys. We enjoyed having time to get out of the vehicle, walk around, take photos, and just appreciate how peaceful the mountains felt. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and having someone familiar with the area made the trip much easier and more enjoyable. We also liked that the experience didn't feel overly rushed, so we could enjoy the landscapes at our own pace. One of the best parts was simply spending three days away from the noise of the city with good company. Danakil Depression Tours organized the trip well, and we came home with plenty of stories and photos to share.
