Introductory Tour of Kundasang and Mt. Kinabalu
Tour guide waz excellent. Tried to accommodate my two grandchildren, which is not easy. We enjoyed the Putera Harbour cruise. The drive up Kundasang was smooth & easy. William dropped us closest possible at the Desa cow farm. Perkasa Hotel gave us the best view of mt. Kinabalu.Inti

Great experience - thank you Joel
! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Joel :) Joel was an outstanding guide during our trip to Kota Kinabalu. He was incredibly informative and engaging, always going the extra mile to spot rare plants and flowers for us. His deep knowledge of butterflies stood out — he patiently searched and found specific species, which made the experience truly special. We also loved his ability to imitate bird sounds and interact with them, bringing the forest alive in a fun and magical way. Additionally, his insights into local fruits and vegetables were excellent, especially when he introduced us to langsat — one of the yummiest fruits from the region! Throughout the trip, Joel remained respectful, patient, and attentive to our pace and interests. Thanks to him, we had a memorable and enriching experience exploring Sabah’s natural beauty. We highly recommend Joel to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu. We’d gladly join another tour with him in the future!

Warm, professional service from start to finish
From the very beginning of the booking process, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. While some other companies stopped replying in the middle of our inquiries, Amazing Borneo always responded promptly and thoughtfully, which made us feel completely at ease and confident in choosing them. Their support on-site was also smooth, warm, and genuinely pleasant. Rony, our guide for the Mount Kinabalu climb, was truly reliable. He shared so much knowledge and interesting stories, and thanks to him, we were able to enjoy the entire climb with smiles from start to finish. The view from the summit was absolutely amazing — I’m so glad I came. It has become a once‑in‑a‑lifetime memory.

A Smooth Climb With A Helpful Guide/Porter
The tour went smoothly without any issues. I was picked up by a driver from KK to Kinabalu Park Headquarter. After one night stay, I met my guide and porter, Carl. He is an experienced veteran climbing Mt Kinabalu. He helped me carry the clothes to the lodge. I lost my headlight so he borrowed his flashlight to me. He carried the heavy mirrorless camera for me from the lodge to the summit. Without him, I couldn’t have summited Mt Kinabalu so easily. After descending to the Headquarter, he collected the certificate for me. A driver took me back to KK with my satisfaction and memory about this climb.

2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kota Kinabalu.
How much does 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kota Kinabalu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kota Kinabalu is not rushed.
Is 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Kota Kinabalu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kota Kinabalu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kota Kinabalu and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2d1n Kinabalu Park & Poring Canopy Walk & Desa Cow Farm Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kota Kinabalu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kota Kinabalu?
+
On Outty we rank every Kota Kinabalu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Guided Snorkeling Day Trip, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Learn to Dive | RAID Open Water 18 Diver Course | Kota Kinabalu, Leisure Diving | Fun Dives | 3 Dives in TARP, Kota Kinabalu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kota Kinabalu?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kota Kinabalu?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
