    Holi Festival March 26

Sharing the Holi festival with Roopak and his family was definitely the right way to experience the festival, from the moment I made the booking Roopak made every moment count! Sending a personal welcome message and lots of information before the festival. The day of the festival was nothing short of amazing, we were provided with everything you needed to enjoy the Holi festival with the locals and to say it didn’t disappoint is an understatement. I would highly recommend you choose Roopak and his family to celebrate the Holi Festival… thank you

    Best way to experience Holi

Had a fantastic time, it was exactly what I was looking for. No better way to celebrate Holi like a local. Roopak and his family were great hosts with a combination of great food and a very welcoming reception from them and their community.

    A Magical Experience

What a great experience. It was lovely to experience holi from a local community experience. Our hosts were warm and friendly and we could not have felt more welcome in their home. Once we were out experiencing the festival, I would say the very same for the local community. The kids made sure we were fully included in the festivities from the offset, my once white outfit, a rainbow 🌈 in less that 5 minutes:) It was a truly magical experience to be part of the holi celebrations, blessed by all in love, water, colour and laughter. Thanks for having us ❣️

Holi Colour Festival in Delhi with Roopak and his family was excellent.

Roopak was funny, very organised and provided a wonderful experience for all of us. We played games and he provided all the equipment needed for a great time during the Holi. We felt very welcomed by his family and community. A fantastic day and I can highly recommend him for any event.

    Holi Event (04.03.26)

It was an amazing experience to spend time with Roopak, Nidhi and their family at their beautiful home and the during the holi event. They made us feel welcome and relaxed at their home. I would say that the holi event itself is suited to introverted people as there was a lot going on. With one friend I was travelling having some concerns with the powder and smoke used concerning her asthma. I think it would be beneficial to consider alternative options during the holi event for people with health issues to take part and still have fun.

Response from the operator: Dear Guest - Thanks for sharing your experience. We're glad you enjoyed the Holi celebrations with us! We understand your friend had concerns about the coloured powder due to asthma. We'd like to clarify that the use of coloured powder is an integral part of Holi Festival, and we had mentioned this in the event details beforehand. Nevertheless, we appreciate your suggestion about alternative options for Guests with health issues and will consider this for future events. Regards.

22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family cost?

    +

Prices start at $8500 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 28 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 22 Mar 2027 - Enjoy Holi (Color Festival) with Local Delhi Family start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
