    About this experience

The best way to explore any city specially challenging city like New Delhi are on the bike with experienced and passionate tour leader. We have been leading the bike tour all over the city Delhi since 2014 with passion and fun. This tour take you straight into the 14th century Sufi Shrine which has been guiding force for most of the Mughal rulers from 17th to 19th century. The tour slowly take you into learning how the British ruler reshaped the cultural scene and finally into the modern day Delhi. You also get to take breathe and short stop for photo sessions at probably the best garden - Lodhi Garden and not to forget the authentic masala Dosa from our favourite place from the street and a short stop for Masala Chai to complete your experience.

Best way to sightsee in the Art District

We were doing a cycling tour in Kerala with CyclingInIndia (highly recommend), so we decided a good warmup would be Delhi by Bike since we were in Delhi for a few days. We weren't disappointed. We did the art and street food tour near Lodhi Gardens. Our two guides (one in front and one in back) were really fun and pleasant, spoke English well, kept us safe even when we were in the Delhi traffic for short periods. Most of the cycling is in calm, residential areas with art murals, as well as stops for street food. The first stop was a kind of chaotic ride through a very busy Muslim neighborhood (it was Saturday) and we stopped for food there. I regret not getting more pictures. We also stopped for dosas (yum) and later for chai. This is an excellent way to get a small taste of New Delhi and some of the culture of the different neighborhoods. We definitely recommend and would do it again next time we're in New Delhi. Darmesh and (I'm sorry I forgot the other name :( ) were our two excellent guides!

    A pleasant bike ride

My guide Vishnu was nice and informative. He gave candy to kids. He explained the sites without over-explaining. He shared a street-food lunch which I much enjoyed.

Great alternative option to seeing Delhi

A very insightful bicycle tour of South-Delhi. Darmesh took me on a neat bike ride to several off-the-beaten-path locations, including having chai at a street tea vendor and a delicious masala dosa lunch on yet another street corner at a bustling food stand. Darmesh was passionate explaining the surroundings touching on religion, poverty, and culture of the neighborhoods we visited. Being a rather comfortable bike rider is probably required as traffic can get hectic around you with the exception of the quiet Lodi art district with its lovely murals. Highly recommended!

Two friends and I went on...

Two friends and I went on this bike tour today and really enjoyed it. Vishnu was a friendly and informative guide who skilfully steered us through the (sometimes hectic) Delhi traffic. The itinerary was well paced and interesting, with the right amount of stops and the included food and drinks delicious. If you’re looking for a different way to see this area of Delhi this bike tour is for you.

3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for New Delhi.

How much does 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District cost?

    +

Prices start at $29 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in New Delhi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District take?

    +

Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in New Delhi is not rushed.

Is 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 37 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in New Delhi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District?

    +

Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in New Delhi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in New Delhi and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 3.5-Hours South Delhi Private Bike Tour with Lodi Art District start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central New Delhi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in New Delhi?

    +

On Outty we rank every New Delhi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Taj Mahal & Agra Private Tour By AC Car From Delhi with 5* Meal, Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Private Day Trip From Delhi with 5* Lunch, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj Day Tour from Delhi by Car. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit New Delhi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in New Delhi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
