    Won’t recommend

TRUE DISCLAIMER - I never write reviews but I genuinely think people should know the truth. Firstly, the directions on aviator were wrong and we ended up going to a place 2km away which made us almost leave our Catamarán. We paid extra 250 pesos for the ride to the original location with the help of a local which was very annoying tbh. At the Oceanix office they couldn’t accommodate us and they didn’t even had my booking due to multiple providers the have allowed access which was frustrating again. We paid 20$ USD docking fees which is mandatory but honestly feels like a scam but that’s alright. Reaching Isla Mujeres we were sold a golf cart tour stating we would stop at 3-4 different places when we only stopped at Punta Sur for 10 mins to take pictures (noting my guide didn’t know English but he was nice enough). Lastly, we were told post golf cart we would have an hour to explore the downtown Isla Mujeres but it was actually just 20mins as we reached downtown around 6pm and the Caribbean ferry people put Catamarán will arrive at 6:30pm (and him recommending to be here 10 mins early). It was really annoying when you pay so much money and more importantly when you are on a vacation and planned everything.

Incredible Day on Le Mar — Amazing Crew & Angie Made It Unforgettable!

We booked Le Mar for a private 7-hour catamaran trip with a group of 14 (adults and kids), and it was hands down one of the top highlights of our vacation in Mexico! From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew made us feel completely welcome and at ease. The boat was in pristine condition, the drinks were flowing, the snacks were fresh, and the energy was perfect for a fun and relaxing day at sea. A very special thank you to Angie, our incredible guide — she was warm, professional, and so attentive to every detail. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was having a great time. Whether helping the kids with snorkeling or making sure the adults always had a drink in hand, she was fantastic. The rest of the 5-person crew was just as amazing — always smiling, helping with everything, and keeping the vibe light and joyful. We sincerely can’t recommend Le Mar and this team enough. If you're looking for a memorable private catamaran experience, book this one without hesitation. Worth every single peso. Thank you again for an unforgettable day!

2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar cost?

    +

Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar take?

    +

Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar?

    +

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 in 1 Catamaran to Isla Mujeres Tour from Cancun with Open Bar start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
