Best day in Portugal
We had such a wonderful time on our private boat tour! The scenery was beautiful, and the food, wine, and music made the experience feel extra special and relaxing. The snack basket was such a thoughtful touch. And Max was truly the highlight—so gracious, attentive, and thoughtful. He made us feel completely comfortable and welcomed, and you could tell he genuinely wanted us to have a memorable experience. We absolutely loved our time on the water and highly recommend this tour!

Any tour with Max is awesome
We booked the 2 hour sunset cruise to Ponte da Piedade to see the caves and have a picnic. The ocean was too rough and the caves were closed which was a disappointment but Max our guide and owner of Algatve on Board went way out of his way to do everything he could to get us out on the water. He updated us all day on the conditions and even took his boat out to check the conditions, etc. it got a little better in the afternoon snd he said it was safe so he offered to take us out and see if we were comfortable. After a 10 min ride, we went to a calm beautiful area and had a picnic on boat, walked a sand dune and went to a fishing village. After a beautiful sunset, the water had calmed down on the way back. Book with Max and he will take you to do whatever you want. He's very flexible and the boat is very comfortable. It's totally worth the extra cost to not be in those other boats crammed in with 50 other people who look miserable!! Totally recommend all his tours !!!

Fortunately, on that day, the conditions became favorable enough for us to safely enjoy some time on the coast. However, visiting the caves and sea grottos was not permitted... Every morning, and once again during the day, the maritime authorities assess the conditions and classify cave visitation into three different scenarios: 1, 2, and 3. When conditions are classified as Scenario 3, entering the caves and sea grottos is prohibited by them. In these situations, I always try my best to find an alternative for my guests, especially when they are on their last day of their trip and rescheduling isn't possible. I was very happy that you guys trusted my experience and, most importantly, my care for my guests. Indeed, the estuary in Alvor and the fishing village is one of my favorite places to take my guests, not just because it's always calm there, but because we have some sandbars to explore, colect some shells and enjoy my picnic basket and the drinks I offer. I created my company to share my passion for the sea, and the reason behind my business is simple: to always provide a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience on the water. Sometimes nature decides the itinerary for us, but I will always do my best to make the experience special nonetheless. Thank you again for your trust, your flexibility, and your kind words. The best boat trip in the Algarve — no discussion
I researched a lot before choosing and the Algarve on Board was by far the best decision of the trip. If you are looking for a boat trip in Lagos, Ponta da Piedade or Algarve caves, you can stop your search here. The boat is new, spacious and well-kept — safety and comfort in every detail. The roadmap covers the best points of Ponta da Piedade: the rocky formations, the caves, the arches and that transparent water that we do not believe exists. Careful guide, perfect rhythm, enough time in each spot to enjoy and shoot without rush. The difference is the complete experience: delicious snacks at the right time and a soundtrack that fits so well with the setting that seems scripted for that sunset. We left the boat with that rare feeling that nothing could have been better. Unforgettable tour, passionate staff for what they do and memory that stays. Note 10, I highly recommend.

The experience was sensational. The reception was super warm, we already had a basket of picnics and wines waiting for us. Max is very communicative, talked about history, drew attention to the beauties of the place, left us super at ease. The boat is modern, new, super comfortable.
