Birdwatching afternoon Logoa dos Salgados
Our guide, Guillaume, had contacted us the week before to ensure we had exact details of the meeting point, and met us as arranged. We spent a wonderful 3 hours exploring the bird life at the lagoon, he helped us with waders, wildfowl and small songbirds that we were not familiar with. We would have missed many birds otherwise or been unsure about what we saw. We had a really good results, clocking up firsts for us, marsh harrier, purple heron, glossy Ibis and bee eater. It was exactly what we wanted expert knowledge in a small group setting.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much Siobhan, I am glad you enjoyed!

Good afternoon visit to local lake with knowledgeable guide.
We are interested in birds, but not serious birders. We chose a shorter visit to a location near where we were staying. The guide was very knowledgeable and we were able to use his telescope to get close-up views of the birds. We also hired binoculars. We were able to ask any questions we wanted. We saw a variety of birds, many of which we had never seen before and can now recognize and name more species than before. It's good not just go to beaches, pools and restaurants while on holiday, but also to learn about local wildlife.
Response from the operator: Thanks a lot Janet end Stephen. We are happy you enjoyed the tour.

Birdwatching afternoon with a new friend - fabulous!
Guillaume was the perfect host, with outstanding knowledge of the area and its wildlife. The trip comprised just the 2 of us along with our host. We were treated to an amazing array of birds, some that we see at home, but many that rarely come to our shores. A wonderful afternoon out, birdwatching with our new friend! Thank you

Amazing location, superb sightings and an excellent guide in Gui
We had a fantastic experience at this lagoon. I have been here often but under Gui's excellent and watchful eye we saw birds I would not have been able to identify on my own. Gui is an amazing guide who comes with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. This is not our first experience with Gui and won't be the last. Highly recommend this tour if you only have a short stay and would like to see a diversity of birds, even beginner birdwatchers will be able to identify birds by the end of the experience.

Flamingoes Spoonbills and Goats
A great afternoon birding with Guillaume Rethore - Transport provided for the two of us. Gui fitted our level of expertise and added to our experience with his excellent guiding- we saw a wide range of resident and migrant birds.

+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
