Excellent trip for a great value!
Had an excellent 2 hour boat trip over Memorial Day weekend with my family and our 18 month old daughter. Captain CJ was very knowledgeable, friendly and flexible with the trip. Great overall value for a trip that was well with it. 10/10. Would book the same trip again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the wonderful review. Hope to see you agaon. Capt CJ

Unforgettable - A Must Do!
If you’re coming to the Space Coast during the months of bioluminescence, you MUST go on this tour with Captain CJ! It was one of those things we will remember forever. Our kids (a very busy 7 year old and a very chill 10 year old) can’t stop talking about it. Captain CJ made them junior captains, told us the FUNNIEST stories, and taught us an abundant amount of information about the geography, history, and science of the area. The bioluminescence was stunning! It blew us away to see fish of all sizes (even a very large, round mystery fish) darting through the water, creating streams of radiant blue. Crew member Carter got a workout with buckets and buckets of water that made the water dance and let us experience the bioluminescence interactively. I cannot thank Captain CJ and Carter enough for such a magical experience. We would do this 1000 more times if possible. (Pro tip - before our trip I talked to Captain CJ on the phone and he recommended long sleeves. We came with long sleeves, long pants, and heavy duty bug spray. We didn’t look pretty, but we stayed protected.) Finally, we didn’t take a ton of photos because videos turned out better, but we stopped trying so we could just soak in the moment.
Response from the operator: Jennifer, Thanks for the great review..We are so happy we could make your birthday an unforgettable experience. We look forward to seeing your troop again! Capt CJ and Carter

Great tour!
This was the second tour we have done in Cocoa Beach and this one was the best by far. The captain had a ton of knowledge and we got to see dolphins and manatees.
Response from the operator: Thank you David for the great review. Happy to hear you enjoyed the journey. Look forward to seeing you again. Capt CJ

Why this scores 69
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cocoa Beach.
How much does 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon cost?
+
Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cocoa Beach usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cocoa Beach is not rushed.
Is 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cocoa Beach, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cocoa Beach can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cocoa Beach and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Hour Guided Sunset Boat Tour of the Indian River Lagoon start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cocoa Beach within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cocoa Beach?
+
Cocoa Beach sells surf lessons, airboat rides on the St Johns, bioluminescent kayak paddles in summer and rocket launch viewing cruises, with Kennedy Space Center a short drive north. On Outty we rank every Cocoa Beach experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Mangrove Tunnels, Dolphins, Manatee Tour #1 Rated in Cocoa Beach, Wizard of OZ Museum tour, Cocoa Beach Dolphin and Wildlife Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cocoa Beach?
+
March to May and September to November; check launch schedules before booking. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cocoa Beach?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
