A very awesome deep dive into calligraphy history and demonstration. It was just my partner and I so we got extra attention to our questions and we got to choose more challenging and involved characters for our final product. Highly recommend if even if you dont know much about calligraphy or dont care, youll learn to appreciate it!

A fruitful visit to Shanghai Calligraphy workshop under Lucy
It was just so inspiring to learn the basics of ancient Chinese calligraphy with Lucy in Shanghai. Her depth of understanding, patient, friendly and interactive manner in explanation as well as skilful instructions on the strokes of Chinese calligraphy immediately put one , especially a new beginner at ease. I was so inspired by the history of the writing and waste no time to buy the calligraphy papers, ink and brushes and started to practise them at home. Now I am proud to say that I had written a few ancient Chinese calligraphy words on some fans to be given as gifts to friends. Thanks Lucy!💕
