Challenge yourself to climb the highest peak in North Africa in 2 or 3 days. The tour starts and finishes in the vibrant city of Marrakech, and includes transport to and from Imlil. We will trek with a local English speaking guide, a local cook and mules to carry our luggage. It’s a challenging walk rather than a climb, and anybody in good physical condition can reach the top. Make sure you bring your camera; the views from the summit are spectacular. Mount Toubkal 4167m is the highest peak in North Africa and is a trekking peak involving no climbing two days involve walking in crampons holding an ice axe for security (Nov to April ) . The itinerary has been designed for keen walkers, as the ascent is non-technical, but involves some easy scrambling and snow slopes.

Beautiful ascension !
I have to say that everything was amazing and well organised ! It was a real pleasure to climb with a canadian duo and Abdellatif (our guide) ! He is always smiling, happy to discuss, to share, to help… He is paying attention to all the little details that make you feel comfortable and taken into consideration ! He is passionnate about his work and I loved spending time with him in the way to Toubkal ! Ismail and Ebrahim (organisation team) was really available whenever I wanted, really professional ! I definitely recommand ! Thanks for everything 🙏🙏🙏☀️

Toubkal
I had a great time doing Toubkal! My guide was a perfect match for me. I was thankful that I chose to book a private guide. I like to hike quickly and having a private guide made this possible. The first day was pretty easy. We started at 10am and took 2 breaks. The food was pretty good. The refuge at the base of Toubkal was nice. But good luck sleeping with 27 other people. The second day we started at 4:30 and made it to the top for sunrise. We finished just before 11am. We did run some of the way down. If you are used to hiking a lot I would rate this at moderate. If aren't used to hiking or the elevation this is a hard hike.

A fantastic trip to the highest point in North Africa.
From the minute we got picked up from the hotel it was an excellent experience. The driver who took us to imlil village was great. All the organisation for the whole trip from start to finish was absolute amazing. How they get all the timing right at each individual stage of the trip is brilliant. All the team are so friendly and Mohamed our guide was a true gentleman and could do enough for us. We have done this trip befor with another operator and we thought that was good but this team is something special. Thanks to Ismail, Hussain and Mohamed for giving us this amazing experience Thanks you guys. Stuart (the goat) and Jake. From England.

That's some serious coordination skills! 🤩 👨🏫 Having a knowledgeable and helpful guide is always a bonus, and it sounds like Mohamed was exactly that. 👍 👏 Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with me (ismail) , Elhoussain, and Mohamed. I'm sure they will appreciate your kind words and are happy to know that they made your trip so enjoyable. 🤗 We really hope to see you once again for another trip with us . We'll be always at your disposal for any time . Don't hesitate to recommend us to your friends and family please . Many thanks for once again for the superb review you gave us. Why this scores 72
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2 days Toubkal trek: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.
How much does 2 days Toubkal trek cost?
+
Prices start at $186 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 days Toubkal trek take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.
Is 2 days Toubkal trek worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 16 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 days Toubkal trek?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 days Toubkal trek suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 days Toubkal trek?
+
Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 days Toubkal trek start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Marrakech?
+
On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marrakech: 1 Day Tour-Best of Atlas Mountains and Three Valleys, 3 Days Merzouga Desert Tour from Marrakech with Luxury Camp, Marrakech: Atlas Mountains, Ourika Valley, Waterfall + Lunch. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Marrakech?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Marrakech?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
What is included in 2 days Toubkal trek?
+
Included: Private transportation; Lunch; Dinner; Breakfast; and Sleep bags. Always check the voucher for the final list before you travel.
Does 2 days Toubkal trek include hotel pickup?
+
Yes, pickup is offered for every traveler from 421 listed pickup locations in and around Marrakech. Be ready about 10 minutes before the start time. You can also enter a custom pickup address when booking.
What languages is 2 days Toubkal trek offered in?
+
It is offered in English, French and Spanish. Pick your language when choosing a date and time, as not every departure runs in every language.
Will I get instant confirmation and a mobile ticket for 2 days Toubkal trek?
+
Confirmation is sent by the operator after booking, usually within 48 hours; if it is not confirmed you are not charged. Mobile tickets are accepted, so you can show the voucher on your phone.
Is 2 days Toubkal trek wheelchair or stroller accessible?
+
The operator notes: Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap; Specialized infant seats are available; and Not recommended for pregnant travelers. If accessibility is critical, contact the operator after booking to confirm arrangements for your date.
