Trip in Transylvania, Romania
Excellent service provided by Eddy and the tour has a deep coverage of Transylvanian culture and food. It is one of the most comfortable and memorable trips in the South East European area.

Beautiful Transylvania
We had an amazing experience and loved every minute of this tour. Eddie is extremely knowledgeable and was an excellent tour guide ensuring that we were well taken care of. Hotel accommodation in the heart of the citadel was fantastic - amazing to wake up and move around before the crowds come. I thought two days would be enough but it’s not. Transylvania is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL! Eddie helps you purchase your tickets at the locations, suggesting where you can eat and providing other helpful information. If you are thinking of doing a tour with Eddie, book it. You won’t be disappointed!

Excellent Transylvanian tour with a great guide
If you want to visit Transylvania but only have a short amount of time in Romania (we were there for only 3 nights), if you like private or small group tours rather than a cheap big bus ride with commentary you can hardly hear, if you want a friendly knowledgeable guide who leaves you enough free time in each location to wander the streets, then this is the tour for you! Hits all the highlights - Peles Castle, Brasov, Sighisoara and Bran Castle. The travel time between places often takes longer than you think, because of the road conditions and the traffic. Staying overnight in Sighisoara is the way to go. You get to enjoy one of the prettiest medieval towns without the crowds of day trippers. Eddie is a wonderful guide. We enjoyed his company and his insights into everyday Romanian life and recent current events (on top of his commentary on the history of the country, region and individual sites). Eddie is honest, efficient and friendly. Deal with him with confidence. Thanks Eddie for a great trip!

Is 2 Days Private Tour of Transylvania from Bucharest to Sighisoara suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 Days Private Tour of Transylvania from Bucharest to Sighisoara?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Bucharest can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Bucharest and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

What are the best things to do in Bucharest?
+
On Outty we rank every Bucharest experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include The Real tour of Communism, Bucharest Highlights Walking Tour, Top Gear Road, Small-group max 7 pax with Pick-up, Transfăgărăşan. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Bucharest?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Bucharest?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
