Ngutuni is a unique 10,000 acre private game sanctuary located next to Tsavo East, it is easily accessible making it a perfect getaway spot from the southern part of the Kenyan coast. Game viewing in this sanctuary is perfectly superb with great concentration of Elephants, Lion prides, Buffalo, Rhino, Gazelles and a wide variety of antelopes that regularly visit the lodge's strategically dug waterhole. Other unique wildlife found here are the Greater and lesser Kudu, Oryx, Gerenuk and the rare wild dog. The area is famous for the "man eaters of Tsavo" Lions immortalized for attacking workers during the building of the Kenya-Uganda railway line at the turn of the century.
