Amazing experience with the best guide Sandro!
It was absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I had a private tour from our guide Sandro and he did an fantastic job. Very friendly and knows much about the trail/machu picchu. This really made the experience!😁
Response from the operator: We are truly glad to hear that you and your girlfriend had such an incredible experience on the 2-day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu—it’s a very challenging tour. Sandro will be very grateful for your kind words. His knowledge of the trail, Machu Picchu, and Inca history, along with his friendly and attentive manner, is something he brings to every tour with great passion. It means a lot to us to know that having a private guide made the experience even more special and memorable for the two of you. Thank you very much for choosing Machu Picchu Viajes Perú and for appreciating Sandro’s work. We hope this adventure will remain one of your favorite memories of Peru for many years to come.

Amazing experience!!!!!
We had an absolutely amazing time on this tour!! Our guide, Sandro, was the best ever: he really made this experience 10 times better. The hike itself wasn’t too hard, the only thing I do recommend is to bring light clothes, as we did get very hot during the hike. The views we had during the hike were honestly almost as good as the view of Machu Picchu, so I definitely recommend doing the hike and not going all the way by train!
Response from the operator: What an incredible review to read. We are so happy to know that the 2-Day Inca Trail became such a memorable part of your trip. It is wonderful to hear that the hike itself felt enjoyable and that the scenery along the trail impressed you almost as much as Machu Picchu. That is exactly what makes this route so special: the journey becomes just as memorable as the destination. Sandro will absolutely love reading that he made the experience “10 times better.” For a guide, there is probably no better compliment than knowing that his presence, energy, and way of sharing the journey became such an important part of the memory itself. Thank you as well for sharing the tip about bringing light clothing. Advice like that can be really useful for future travelers preparing for the hike. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are very happy that you chose to experience Machu Picchu through the Inca Trail rather than only by train. We hope those views, the hike, and the memories from the journey stay with you for a very long time.

The most amazing experience!
We had the most amazing experience, made all the more special by our Guide, Saul. Saul was super-friendly, attentive, caring and very knowledgeable. His passion and respect for the mountains, the history, and nature was so evident and we learned so much from him. Saul managed all the logistics from transfers, transport, hotels, restaurants and entry points with professionalism and efficiency and everything ran so smoothly. We cannot recommend Saul highly enough, he made our experience so memorable.
Response from the operator: What a wonderful review to receive. We are truly happy to know that your 2-Day Inca Trail experience became such a memorable part of your journey. Your words about Saul say a great deal. Beyond guiding the route, he was able to share his passion for the mountains, history, and nature in a way that made the experience much more meaningful. That connection is what can turn a beautiful trek into something genuinely unforgettable. We are also glad that all the logistics — from transfers and transport to hotels, restaurants, and entry arrangements — ran smoothly throughout the trip. On a journey like this, having everything well coordinated makes a huge difference. Thank you very much for recognizing Saul’s work and for trusting Machu Picchu Viajes Peru. We hope the memories of the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu stay with you for many years to come.

Unforgettable experience
Recommended by a friend, this is an efficient, helpful and responsive agency. We met our guide the day before the tour, which gave us a chance to get to know each other. Saul was very friendly; he adapted to our pace and peppered the tour with historical anecdotes about the site. He even recommended places to go for a drink once we arrived in Aqua Caliente. Beyond the absolutely incredible and extraordinary tourist and cultural experience, it was also a wonderful human meeting.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for such a thoughtful review, and also for choosing us based on a friend’s recommendation. We are delighted to know that the experience was not only culturally and historically memorable, but also meaningful on a personal level. Meeting Saul the day before the tour clearly helped create a more relaxed and personal connection from the beginning. We are especially glad that he adapted to your pace, shared the history of the area in an engaging way, and even added those small local recommendations that make a journey feel more authentic. Your words about this being “a wonderful human meeting” are especially meaningful to us. Beyond the landscapes and archaeological sites, it is often the people we meet along the way who make a trip truly unforgettable. Thank you for trusting Machu Picchu Viajes Peru. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Peru for another memorable experience in the future.

Amazing Machu Picchu and Inka Trail experience with Domingo
I booked with Machu Picchu Viajes on a recommendation by a Peruvian friend and couldn’t be happier. The whole trip was organised perfectly, I was informed well (including what to bring and what not) and, most importantly, I had the best guide in Domingo. Domingo was not only extremely knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu and the Inka Empire and Peru, but he enthusiastically shared his own insights and experiences as a local guide from Cusco. After two days, i felt like we’d been friends for ages! If you book through Machu Picchu Viajes and you care about a deeper experience than just photos at Machu Picchu, i can only recommend that you ask if Domingo is available!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re very happy to know that your trip was perfectly organized and that you felt well informed throughout the experience. We’re especially glad to hear that Domingo made your visit to Machu Picchu so meaningful with his knowledge, passion, and local perspective. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Thank you for trusting Machu Picchu Viajes Perú, and we hope to welcome you back again! 🇵🇪✨

2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cusco.
How much does 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel cost?
+
Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cusco usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cusco is not rushed.
Is 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 75 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Cusco, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel?
+
Around 26 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cusco can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cusco and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Days Inca Trail to Machu Picchu with hotel start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cusco within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cusco?
+
On Outty we rank every Cusco experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sacred Valley Full Day Tour, Full-Day Humantay Lake Trek (Meals Included), Cusco: Rainbow Mountain & Red Valley Premium Day Trip with Meals. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cusco?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cusco?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
