Amazing team and guide. I didn’t have to think about anything since they planned everything from airport pick up till drop off. Best value for buck but also great attitude and support. Got permission to visit the Pablo family thanks to our guide!

Great tour in Rwanda
My experience with Universal Ventures was excellent! The owner Emmanuel was very accommodating with revisions to my booking. Our driver/guide Christian was outstanding: friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Our flight to Kigali was significantly delayed, but Christian was happy to safely drive us to our hotel near Volcanoes National Park late into the evening in inclement weather. Highly recommended!

Gorilla trekking trip for life
Our 2-day gorilla trekking safari with Universal Ventures Rwanda was truly one of the most emotional and unforgettable experiences of our lives. From the very first contact, the company showed exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to each detail we asked, making us feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely valued throughout the journey. Everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to fully enjoy the magic of Rwanda without any stress. The gorilla trekking experience itself was simply breathtaking and deeply moving. Coming face to face with mountain gorillas in their natural habitat, see them praying and interacting was beyond anything we could have imagined—an experience that touched our hearts and will stay with us forever. The accommodation recommanded by the company "Ingagi Park View Lodge " was the perfect reward. The hotel room was excellent—spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, peaceful, and offering stunning views that made us feel completely connected to nature. The comfort, warm hospitality, food and serene atmosphere added so much value to our safari. A very special thanks goes to our driver-guide, Chadi, who did an outstanding job from start to finish. His knowledge, kindness, patience, and passion for his country made the journey even more meaningful. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable, informed, and happy at every moment, and his positive energy truly made the trip exceptional. This safari was not just a trip—it was an emotional journey filled with awe, joy, and unforgettable memories. We highly recommend Universal Ventures Rwanda to anyone dreaming of a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. They turned our dream into reality in the most beautiful way possible. 100%

2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Kigali.
How much does 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda cost?
+
Prices start at $1,140 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Kigali usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Kigali is not rushed.
Is 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Kigali, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Kigali can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Kigali and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Days 1 Night Gorilla Trekking Safari in Rwanda start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Kigali within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Kigali?
+
On Outty we rank every Kigali experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include One-day Akagera National Park Game Drive with a Choice 4x4, One Day Akagera Wildlife Safari, Kigali City Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Kigali?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Kigali?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
