BEST SARARI EVER WITH NSHUTI AND BEN
Easy pick up and drop off, guides where able to accommodate well. Total fee is$380 plus US$125 to enter the park. We also tipped our guides as they made this experience, meaningful and well worth the money. Our visit was two days, including one full day Safari, which included lunch and dinner, camping experience with campfire, and then another entire day of safari and had lunch again included. We were then driven back to Kigali. Atmosphere was fun and lighthearted, our guides were having fun with us, singing together in the car, and got to know each other well. The guides were able to understand our goals for the Safari and made it possible to see four of the big five among many other animals. Our guides were also very knowledgeable in safety and able to keep us safe around the animals. There were essentially no wait times aside from possibly 20 minutes at our lunch spot, but our guides were able to order in advance and keep our wait times to a minimum. My tour guide was “Nshuti” who has over 10 years of experience and was easily able to identify every animal and bird along the trail with a great deal of knowledge of the Park. He was able to navigate, drive, keep us safe, plan our adventure, and communicate with other guides all at the same time. Our other tour guide was “Ben” who is young and fun and quite knowledgeable he helped us get incredible photos ( he is a social media expert and photographer.) In combination, our two guides were a great team, and I cannot have asked for a better experience.

Overnight camping at Akegara park
Had an overall very positive experience with the tour guides. Went on an overnight camping trip at Akegera Park with friends as a part of our work trip downtime. We were very fortunate to have the opportunity to see 4/5 of the big 5 animals. While the roads were bumpy and uneven, we had a blast driving in the Safari car and talking with the tour guides who were very knowledgeable about the ecosystem and animals in the park. We learned about different birds, fun animal trivia, and had the opportunities to take some amazing photos of the wildlife. The view from the mountain was also spectacular with a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Our tour guides Nshuti and Ben were amazing and took endless amount of fantastic photos of us.

Amazing tour
Fantastic tour! Highlights: -tour guide Justin was great, very knowledgable, friendly, and excellent English -Many, many animals including up close with an elephant, crocs hippos giraffes zebra rhinos baboons buffalo and so many bird species. Even spotted an incredibly rare black rhino -Camping under incredible Milky Way views, hanging out around the fire in the middle of Akagera -Coordination with Vista was very easy and smooth. There was even one item we realized after the tour we needed reimbursement for and they went out of their way to deliver cash payment to us in the middle of Kigali, very appreciated You should of course be comfortable with tent camping, only fresh (delicious) fruits for breakfast, etc - this isn't a super fancy tour, which made it even better for us Worth every penny and would do another tour with these guys, thank you!

Amazing camping adventure with a lot of animal sightings
Paul was our guide and did an amazing job. We saw a lot of animals (lion, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, crocodiles, antilopes, birds, etc.), only the Leopard was missing, which is very rarely spotted. Paul has a great knowledge about the animals and the park. He picked us up on time at the hotel and brought us back to the hotel to pick up the luggage and then brought us to the airport in time. The overnight stay was amazing. The camping gear was perfect with good sleeping bags so we were warm enough at night. I would have wished for a tea/coffee at the campsite at night and in the morning. Also, the dinner was simply a take away from the restaurant where we had lunch, so it was cold. The stunning views and the night sky in the campsite made up for it. Also, staying at the campsite allows to get to the north of the park, especially to Kilala Plain, where we saw the most animals. We also did an additional early morning drive through Kilala Plain and saw the lions on the move. Overall it was a perfect trip and was worth it every cent! I can highly recommend.
