a memorable experience

I took this excursion with my mom during our stay in Morocco and we loved it! Redouan who led us through the different points of visits and views was very friendly and spoke both French and English. And our guide Mohammed during the visit of Ait Ben Haddou was kind and exciting, it was really a pleasure to discover this village with all the information that gave us. Then the team that took care of us during the camel ride was great, nothing wrong! Beautiful moments of sharing during the evening at the camp, with music and dancing around a fire. We are delighted with this safari in every way:)

Was OK

It is a long distance around 7-8 hour driving. We stopped at Aitben Haddou and did a tour with a tourist guide. They do ask for money at the end (around 30 MAD) but I would recommend it. The Sahara and Camel Riding was a good experience. However, when we got to the camp, there was only 5 of us so it seemed a little bit dull. The hosts did their best to entertain with some berber singing. I was hoping there would be a fire and we would be dancing around it as other reviews suggest but none of that was present (maybe cuz there was only 5 of us in total). Dinner and breakfast was nice. The drive back was just long and the driver kept stopping, when in reality you just want to get back ASAP. Overall, it was okay, just expected a little more entertainment. Also the driver/organisation usually gets in touch with you a day before - just something to note.

Punctual, great transport and driver. Met my expectations.

Unique and awesome experience! We were with a good group of people, the mini bus trip is a bit long but with great landscapes, photo stops. Unique experience with the Berbers! Thank you for their hospitality and kindness! A tip, go up the dunes at night to see the stars - it’s really pretty!

How far in advance should I book 2-Day Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakech?

+

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. +

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, Best Marrakech to Fes Sahara Desert Tour with Camp & Camel Trek, 3 Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour Camel Rides and Overnight. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
