Bath and Cotswolds Top Tour guide
Daniel - Was our guide over two days and had guided our friend Ellen many times She enjoyed it so much previously she joined us for the tours. Our walking tour of Bath was very informative and helped us appreciate the city even more. It also helps that he is a local. We then traveled to the lovely village of Wells which has an incredible cathedral. Without Daniel we would have never discover this charming city. We also did an afternoon to Stonehenge which I found to be absolutely fascinating. Again, Daniel accompanied us and shared his deep knowledge of this incredible area. One the way we stopped for lunch at the George Inn (the oldest continuously operating Inn in the UK. The food was fabulous and it was a gorgeous spot. The next day we toured Lacock and Castle Combe. Again two lovely villages with gorgeous houses and beautiful scenery. If you are a Harry Potter fan you will definitely want to do this tour. My wife is already planning a return visit with her sisters in the spring of next year and Daniel will be their tour guide!

Excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating - highly recommend Daniel
We had the pleasure of spending two days with Daniel, who toured us to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds. Daniel is an absolute delight , extremely knowledgeable about the area and his detailed stories and interesting facts about Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds made our visit one of the highlights of our trip to the UK. Would highly recommend Daniel.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review and recommendation Barbara! It was a real delight spending 2 days with both of you and showing you around Bath and the local area. I hope you had an amazing time on the rest of your trip and the jam made it safe and sound back to Canada! If you are ever back this way again do let me know! Wishing you many more wonderful travel experiences together, Daniel.

Incredible experience in the Cotswolds
Dan took us out on our second day of touring to experience the Cotswolds region. After having spent the day before with us, he definitely leaned into some of our interests and made sure he shared information and created experiences for us. He came prepared for us to feed the ducks within a Cotswolds village, brought a book along about the 60+ breeds of sheep in the UK, and pulled over several time so I could see cows and sheep and grab their photos. He also pointed out some WWII moments along the way that really piqued my husband’s interest. Dan incorporated locations in the Cotswolds where famous films had been shot. He even showed us film clips on his iPad so we could see the place in which we stood in the films. It was great fun. When I mentioned that I wanted to take biscuits (cookies) home from the various countries we would visit for our grandchildren to try, Dan made sure and took me to a row of shops and a grocery so I could grab some. Dan knows his history, pop culture, and willingly shared his passion for travel. Dan also listens looks for ways to make the tour yours. Impressive!
Response from the operator: Thank you for this wonderful review of my South Cotswolds Tour Leigh! It was great fun spending 2 days with you both. I love the photo of Ed feeding the goats! If you are ever back this way again do let me know and I would be delighted to show you more of the sights in the region. Wishing you many more incredible experiences together, Daniel.

Thank you Daniel for a wonderful experience!
When you plan for a trip, you are always taking a chance on the experience you may end up. With that being said, I want to extend a big “THANK YOU” to Daniel for a wonderful family trip. The trip was everything that was advertised. I want to go into the “finer” details of what made this trip special. Daniel responded timely to my numerous repetitive inquiries over the span of a year of planning. Right before the trip, I tore my Achilles, so the trip had to be tailored slightly to include my wheelchair and handicap. Daniel took it upon himself to make the necessary adjustments (organize his car to fit 3 large pieces of luggage and a wheelchair, and arranged for a bigger and more accessible room at the wonderful boutique guest house). He relates facts as interesting stories that my two children, age 19 and 17, were totally engaged throughout the whole 2-day trip. You KNOW your kids had a wonderful time when upon arriving at home, my son immediately hopped on his 3D printer and printed out a miniature Stonehenge. My recommendation to future travelers, let Daniel guide you through the trip, take his recommendations, timing, accommodation, restaurants, etc. You will not regret it!
Response from the operator: Thank you for this wonderful review and recommendation Carol. I was so pleased that you were able to do the trip despite your injury. It was an absolute delight showing you and your family around Bath and Stonehenge. You are my first guests to have created a 3D model of Stonehenge after the tour! Thank you for sharing your photos of this and the trip. If you ever return to the area do let me know and I would love to show you more of the region. Wishing you all a fantastic 2024, Daniel.

Top Notch Tour Experience
Our tour with Daniel was beyond great. As a lifelong Bathonian, he was able to show us the main attractions as well as lesser-known areas of the city. He also shared several wonderful stories throughout the day. Additionally, his exceptional knowledge of Stonehenge and Avebury, and the surrounding area made for a truly engaging couple of days.
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review Dodi. It was an absolute pleasure taking you and Richard on a customised version of my overnight tour. I hope you both had an amazing time in Oxford and have a great time in the north of the country. If you are ever back this way again do let me know! Wishing you many more great travelling experiences together, Daniel.

How much does 2 Day Stonehenge and Bath Tour with Overnight Stay in Bath cost?
+
Prices start at $1,099 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Southampton usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Day Stonehenge and Bath Tour with Overnight Stay in Bath take?

Is 2 Day Stonehenge and Bath Tour with Overnight Stay in Bath worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Southampton, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Day Stonehenge and Bath Tour with Overnight Stay in Bath?
+

Is 2 Day Stonehenge and Bath Tour with Overnight Stay in Bath suitable for kids and families?
+

How far in advance should I book 2 Day Stonehenge and Bath Tour with Overnight Stay in Bath?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Southampton can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Southampton and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Southampton within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Southampton?
+
On Outty we rank every Southampton experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Journey Through Winchester's Past, Walk the Secrets of the Titanic, New Forest E-Bike Adventure. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Southampton?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Southampton?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
