The only tour you really need!
This was one of the highlights of my trip to Iceland. I had never been on a multi-day tour with a group of strangers before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but everything went seamlessly. Our guide, Branimir, was fantastic. He made everyone feel welcome and included, was incredibly patient, and was an excellent driver. Throughout the trip, it was obvious how much he genuinely cares about his job and how passionate he is about sharing Iceland's history, geology, and culture. I'm vegan, and Branimir never made me feel like an inconvenience. In fact, while we were on the Glacier Lagoon boat tour, he bought me a vegan sandwich for dinner. It was such a thoughtful gesture that I truly appreciated. The van was comfortable and had fast Wi-Fi. Our overnight hotel exceeded my expectations. My room had comfortable twin beds, a spacious, clean shower, and the hotel included breakfast the next morning. It was also just a short walk from a black sand beach where I had the entire beach to myself in the morning. The glacier hike was incredible, and adding the Katla Ice Cave made the tour even more memorable. If you're considering this tour, I can't recommend it enough. Branimir made an amazing itinerary even better with his kindness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for Iceland.

Amazing experience
I did the overnight minibus tour with Branimir, and it was probably the best tour I’ve ever taken. Branimir was an amazing guide and so kind, knowledgeable, funny and made everyone feel taken care of. The whole itinerary was incredible. We got to see so many beautiful places and every stop was worth it. We stayed overnight at the cutest hotel and the breakfast the next morning was great. The guides for the kayaking and glacier hike were also awesome, friendly, fun and made the experiences even better. Troll was very organized and communicative and made sure everything ran smoothly. Every detail was so well thought out. I had the best time and honestly can’t recommend this tour and guide Bran enough. 10/10!

Excellent Tour, Just be sure you know what to expect.
This is an excellent tour with some experiences that you won't find anywhere else in Iceland. Our guide "Bran" Branimer was excellent in his narration and keeping us update to date on rest stops and upcoming sites. Our tour did not follow the listed itinerary in order, but we did make all of the stops over the two days. It is worth mentioning a few items if you are considereing this two day tour. 1. The first day is a lot of driving - over 500 miles to reach Diamond Beach. There are a couple of scenic stops along the way and rest stops, but you spend most of the day driving. 2. The Black Diamond Beach and lagoon boat ride among the icebergs alone are worth the drive. 3. Our overnight accomodation was a two star hotel. Very limited in features. "Very comfortable" twin beds, with a luggage rack for each, two chairs and a small table. Nothing between the beds for glasses or phones. No TV, but wif fi worked fine. Breakfast was equal to or better to a Holiday Inn Express. Very clean and everything in good condition. 4. The glacier hike is strenuous. It is a big part of the second day and so consider this strongly when deciding to book this tour. 5. The Seljalandsfoss Waterfall is a highlight and you will need a waterproof jacket, pants, and shoes to walk behind the falls. There are several "once in a lifetime" experiences on this tour. Just be sure it is right for you.

Best experience ever
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable 2-Day Adventure with Brandur! Our two-day journey along Iceland’s stunning South Coast was absolutely spectacular, and we owe a huge part of that to our incredible guide, Brandur. • Expertly Crafted Itinerary: The trip was planned with such logical flow and rationality. Every stop felt perfectly timed—we never felt rushed, yet we managed to witness the full majesty of the waterfalls, glaciers, and lagoons. It was a masterclass in travel logistics. • Professional Insights: Brandur’s professionalism and storytelling truly brought the landscape to life. Whether he was explaining the fascinating chemistry of geothermal energy (and that unmistakable sulfur smell!) or the significance of aluminum smelters to the economy, his depth of knowledge turned a sightseeing tour into a deeply enriching experience. • Our Lucky Charm: Most importantly, Brandur seemed to be our lucky charm! From navigating the unpredictable Icelandic weather to ensuring we were at the right spot at the perfect moment, he brought a sense of serendipity and "luck" to our entire group. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, professional, and seemingly has a direct line to the Norse gods for good fortune, Brandur is your man! We couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the land of fire and ice.

2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.
How much does 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik cost?
+
Prices start at $610 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.
Is 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 80 out of 100, which we label "Exceptional". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 189 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik?
+
Around 66 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-Day South Coast Waterfalls, Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Hike from Reykjavik start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?
+
On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Reykjavik?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
