    Wonderful tour

I booked this experience through MyRealTrip, and I’m really glad I chose it. Our guide, Frey, was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. Frey explained everything clearly, shared interesting local stories, and made the whole experience feel comfortable and enjoyable. The schedule was well organized, and the pace was just right, so it never felt rushed. Frey also gave helpful tips, answered all questions kindly, and recommended great photo spots and local places. Thanks to Frey, the experience became much more memorable. I would highly recommend this tour, especially if Frey is your guide!

Response from the operator: Hi there, thank you for writing this so generously. A well-paced two-day tour with a guide who genuinely shares the country is what Snæfellsnes asks for. Lovely to hear all the small details came together to make it memorable. Arctic Adventures Team

    Great experience

I really enjoy this tour. The members of tour consisted of 5 teams (3 teams -1 person, 2 teams - 2 person). Our guide "Frey" gave us specific explaination kindly. And we got enough time to see around, I really appreciated it. Also the weather was sunny, sometimes cloudy, and it made our pictures more beautiful. Pictures Frey took are good gifts for me. Tour members, weather, atmosphere and places, all of things were great. If I have a chance to come Iceland again, I hope to be with Frey again.

Response from the operator: Hi there, what a generous review to read, thank you for taking the time. A guide who takes the time to explain things gently, and who thinks to capture the day in photos for guests to take home, is doing the job in the warmest way. So glad your two days on Snæfellsnes were that kind. Arctic Adventures Team

    Snaefellsnes - love ves

What a great trip with Arctic Adventures! From the moment Gunnar picked us up, the whole experience was amazing. The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is wild and beautiful. It seems to be a path less well trodden but definitely worth it. Gunnar was so knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend this Company.

Response from the operator: Dear Traveller, Thank you for sharing your experience on the 2‑Day Snæfellsnes & Borgarfjörður Small‑Group Tour, we ae so glad to hear you enjoyed it. It is wonderful to know that from the moment Gunnar picked you up, the trip felt special. The Snæfellsnes Peninsula truly is a wild and less‑visited gem, and we are delighted you found it as beautiful and unique as we do. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are grateful you chose to explore these stunning regions with us. We hope to welcome you back for more Icelandic adventures in the future. – Arctic Adventures Team

    Spectacular

An incredible experience. Vik is a fantastic tour guide. He shared so many facts and stories about Iceland. March is when winter hit Iceland this year and Vik drove us through some crazy weather to allow us to experience the sights. The Icelandic cliffs are some of the prettiest in the world; the waterfalls partially frozen are beautiful; geothermal springs are fascinating; the crater walk is magical - so so much to see. Vik allowed us plenty of time to see the sights while timing our travels based on the weather forecast. One of the highlights was seeing the Northern Lights. The weather was cloudy all day. We checked into the hotel, had dinner and then the sky opened up, the stars came out and the lights appeared and danced for us for 2 hours -- a truly magical experience. This was our second tour with this group and I highly recommend them -- the guides are highly experienced, the groups are small and the itineraries showcase the beauty of Iceland.

Response from the operator: Dear Traveler, Thank you for taking the time to share another review with us, it is truly appreciated! It means a lot to see you joined more than one tour and had such a positive experience again. Your feedback highlights how much thoughtful guiding and careful planning, especially in changing weather, can shape the overall journey. Thank you once again for your recommendation and continued trust. We would be glad to welcome you again for another Arctic Adventure! Best regards, Arctic Adventures Team

    Engaging guide and lovely sights

Bjorn was a great guide! We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly and were deeply enriched by his wealth of knowledge about Iceland. He was engaging and spoke clearly about the history of the country and about the volcanos. The sights were also breathtaking and spectacular! Northern lights at Borgarnes were the cherry on top of the great trip! We would recommend him if a guide is needed in Iceland!

We are delighted to know that you enjoyed yourself thoroughly and appreciated the breathtaking sights Iceland has to offer. Thank you for your kind words about Bjorn. He will be pleased to know that his wealth of knowledge about Iceland made this trip so special for you. It is wonderful to hear that the sights left a lasting impression and that the Northern Lights at Borgarnes were the perfect finishing touch. 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Reykjavik.

How much does 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour cost?

    +

Prices start at $368 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Reykjavik usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Reykjavik is not rushed.

Is 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 63 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.4/5 across 70 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Reykjavik, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour?

    +

Around 25 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Reykjavik can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Reykjavik and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2-Day Snaefellsnes & Borgarfjörður Fjord Small-Group Tour start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Reykjavik within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Reykjavik?

    +

On Outty we rank every Reykjavik experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Reykjavik Food Walk - Local Foodie Adventure in Iceland, Small-Group Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon with Ticket & Kerid Crater, Reykjavík Small group Walking Tour - by CityWalk. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Reykjavik?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Reykjavik?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
