Best trip ever!
We spent several days exploring the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Ollantaytambo, and the historical sites of Cusco with Tikas Peru, and it was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. Our guide, Michael, made the entire trip outstanding. Michael is incredibly knowledgeable. He brought every site to life with rich historical context, cultural insights, and stories that went far beyond what you read in guidebooks. He always had fascinating details ready and answered every question with patience and enthusiasm. Beyond the history, Michael also excelled at the practical side of travel. He knew all the best places to eat - authentic local spots with excellent food that we never would have found on our own. He also took us to places where we saw how alpaca clothes were made by indigenous communities. Watching the traditional process firsthand was fascinating, and knowing that our purchases directly supported those local families made the experience even more meaningful. These things added so much value and enjoyment to the trip. The itinerary was well-paced and thoughtfully organized, giving us enough time at each location without feeling rushed. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely helpful guide who elevates the whole experience, we highly recommend Tikas Peru and specifically request Michael. The most authentic way to experience Peru
I’ve been to Peru before to visit family but never had the chance to see the wonders of this country. After Meeting with Veronica when we landed in Cusco, I felt like I was in good hands. She took us out to a lovely restaurant and let us roam as we wished. The next day, we meet up with Michael and made our way to the sacred valley. The way he gave an honest and truly authentic explanation to the various sights assured me that we were getting the true Cusco Experience.

An experiential experience.
I recommend this llama experience tour. I traveled for my vacation to Peru and had one of the best experiential experiences in a rescue center with South American camelids, it is an inexplicable connection with nature to see the Andean condor and feel its majesty is unforgettable. The Color Mountain is unique and beautiful. Visiting Machupicchu was the cherry on the cake Congratulations to the Tikasperu team from the reservation, the guides and until the moment of my departure I felt safe. 100% recommended!!

highly recommended to visit Machu Picchu
I decided to return to Peru because I wanted to visit Machu Picchu, we had the best experience. Tikas Peru has an incredible staff, they are professional and friendly. Life-changing Machu Picchu trip!
Roy was an incredible guide for our trip to Machu Picchu. He was knowledgeable and took his time describing every aspect of the history of this landmark, and carefully answered all of our questions. Roy also is an AMAZING photographer and videographer - all of my friends and family are so impressed by the photos I have from Machu Picchu, and it is all because of Roy! Finally, he is very well connected, from giving us good tips on lining up for the bus in the morning all the way to a great lunch recommendation (with welcome drinks). I very highly recommend booking a Machu Picchu tour with Roy.
