If I could give this 10 stars or more, I would!

If I could give this 10 stars or more, I would! From the moment I booked, until the trek itself and afterwards, I was so well taken care of. Excellent communication and organization with Ibrahim and a fantastic guide, Ahmed, who took such good care of me. An earlier transfer to Imlil was arranged for me, which made it very convenient. I am also a slow walker, and I wanted to do the trek without anyone else, as to not slow down any group or feel very rushed myself. That was no issue either. Crampons were provided, and when I discovered I had forgotten to bring my jacket, which I still am 1000% ashamed about, there was one for me. Ahmed helped with my backpack so that I could keep a more decent pace on the first day. I am forever grateful for that. For the first time in my life, I got altitude sickness. It came out of the blue and it wasn't headaches or dizziness, just stomach issues. Threw up at 3000 meters and made it to the refuge at 3200 where I threw up again and didn't have the best night, health-wise. All this time, Ahmed was incredibly patient and supportive, helping me deal with everything. Together with the muleteer&cook, I was in very good hands, even though I couldn't eat as much of the food that so kindly was prepared for me and that was delicious. On the morning of the ascent, as I was feeling ok-ish, we gave it a try and came to around 3600 meters, which given my general condition was both totally crazy and amazing. Ahmed pushed me without forcing me, helped me through the impossible terrain and made sure I also came all the way back in one piece. We made the completely right decision after I threw up one more time at that altitude, it would have only gotten worse and the risk is not worth it. It took much longer than expected to come down, because of my sickness, but I would not have made it without his support and understanding. Everyone checked how I was doing even afterwards, on my continued journey through the country, which is very kind and attentive. So in spite of getting sick, this was an amazing experience for me. I spent my 40th birthday on an adventure in the mountains, with fantastic views, nature, food and support from the organizing team.

Response from the operator: *Thank you so much for your kind words and for choosing us for your hiking adventure! We’re thrilled you enjoyed the experience . Your feedback truly motivates our team to keep delivering the best service. We can’t wait to welcome you back on another unforgettable trip!*

2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Marrakech.

How much does 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech cost?

+

Prices start at $95 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Marrakech usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech take?

+

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Marrakech is not rushed.

Is 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 46 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Marrakech, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 11. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech?

+

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Marrakech can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Marrakech and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2-Day private Toubkal Trek from Marrakech start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Marrakech within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Marrakech?

+

On Outty we rank every Marrakech experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Agafay Desert Quad Bike Camel Ride and Dinner Show, From Marrakech To Essaouira Mogador Full Day Trip | Small-group, Agafay Desert Package, Quad Bike, Camel Ride and Dinner Show. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Marrakech?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Marrakech?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
