Two Incredible Days in Jordan with Waleed
We had an unforgettable 2-day trip to Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea, and having Waleed as our driver made the whole experience even more special. Two days in Jordan, three incredible destinations, and memories that will stay with us for a very long time
We booked a 2-day trip covering Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea, and it turned out to be one of the best parts of our visit to Jordan. Every place was completely different, and the whole journey was made even better by our driver, Nael. Nael was fantastic from the first minute. He was punctual, polite, relaxed, and extremely professional. Most importantly, we always felt safe and comfortable on the road. He knew exactly how to organize the days so we could see everything without feeling like we were constantly watching the clock. Petra was absolutely incredible. Nothing really prepares you for seeing the Treasury appear at the end of the Siq. It's one of those moments you experience once and never forget. We had plenty of time to explore and take in the history and scenery. Then came Wadi Rum, which was a completely different world. The desert landscapes were unbelievable, and watching the sun go down over the red mountains was one of the highlights of the entire trip. It was peaceful, beautiful, and something we couldn't have experienced anywhere else. The Dead Sea was the perfect finish. After two busy days, relaxing by the water and floating in the sea was exactly what we needed. Nael deserves a special mention because he made the entire experience easy. He was always ready to help, answered all our questions, recommended things along the way, and made sure we were comfortable. He gave us space to enjoy ourselves while also being there whenever we needed him. What we appreciated most was his attitude. Nothing felt complicated or stressful. We could simply enjoy the scenery, take photos, explore, and experience Jordan. If you're planning a trip around Jordan, we highly recommend this itinerary, and we would definitely recommend Nael as a driver. Somewhere between the rose-colored walls of Petra, the golden silence of Wadi Rum, and the endless blue of the Dead Sea, our two-day trip stopped feeling like a tour and started feeling like a little adventure we had stepped into together. We came to Jordan as a group of friends looking for beautiful places, good food, laughter, and unforgettable memories. We found all of that — and so much more. From the very beginning, Nidal made the journey feel special. He wasn't just the person behind the wheel. He became part of the rhythm of our adventure — always there when we needed him, always patient, always kind, and somehow able to make every long drive feel like part of the experience. There was never any stress. No worrying about directions. No wondering about timing. No feeling like we had to hurry. We could simply enjoy the moment. And Jordan gave us plenty of moments to enjoy. Petra — where the journey begins Our first glimpse of Petra is something none of us will forget. We walked through the Siq together, surrounded by enormous walls of rose-colored stone. With every step, the excitement grew. Then the Treasury appeared. For a few seconds, everyone was quiet. We had seen photographs. We had watched videos. But nothing prepares you for standing there with your friends, looking at something that has been standing for thousands of years. What an incredible experience! We spent two unforgettable days exploring some of the most amazing places in Jordan, and having Hadi with us made the whole trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Petra was absolutely unreal. Walking through the Siq and seeing the Treasury appear in front of us was one of those moments you simply don’t forget. The ancient city, the incredible landscapes, and the atmosphere were beyond anything we expected. Then we headed to Wadi Rum, and honestly, it felt like stepping onto another planet. The endless desert, massive rock formations, and incredible views were amazing. Watching the sunset there was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. And after all that adventure, the Dead Sea was the perfect finish. Floating in the salty water, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery was exactly what we needed! What I got was so much more than I expected. My two-day trip to Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea, including an overnight stay in Wadi Rum, was one of the most incredible experiences of my entire trip — and a huge reason for that was Osama, my driver. I have taken many tours in different countries, and I can honestly say that having the right driver can completely change the experience. Osama was more than just a great driver — he was the person who made the entire journey enjoyable. From the very beginning, he was punctual, professional, welcoming, respectful, and incredibly easy to travel with. As a solo traveler, that made a huge difference. I always felt comfortable and safe, and I never had to worry about the logistics of getting from one place to another. But what really stood out was Osama's personality. He was genuinely friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. He was always happy to help, answer questions, recommend things, and make sure I was enjoying the experience.
