    Suitable from Calgary

I felt the tour was rushed, had I known how easy it was to get to on my own from Banff I would have done that. It would definitely suit someone coming from Calgary though.

    The first day was...

The first day was terrible. The van that showed up was small, cramped and completely packed full. The van sounded like it had seen better days. The driver was very nice, however, we couldn't hear much of what he was saying the entire trip, due to speaking low or mic issues. The places we visited were great! The second day was amazing. A big coach bus picked us up and our tour guide was amazing (Samuel). Day two's locations were top notch and the highlight of our family's trip!

Disappointing Cancellation and Poor Customer Service

Our experience was mixed. On the first day, our tour guide was friendly; however, communication was difficult because his English wasn't great and he often mumbled, making many of his comments during the drive hard to understand. His driving also felt unsafe at times. He was driving very fast and nearly collided with both a cyclist and a construction vehicle. After these incidents, he simply laughed and said, "Oops," which was concerning. One positive aspect was that the van was not full, so the tour felt comfortable and not overcrowded. Unfortunately, the second day was extremely disappointing. We paid $20 for a taxi to the designated meeting point, only to receive a phone call at our scheduled pickup time informing us that no one was coming to pick us up. We were offered the option of joining a different tour on another day or waiting approximately three hours in the hope that someone might be available to collect us. When I called back to confirm our decision, the representative was dismissive and told me he was too busy to deal with me at that moment. Although we ended up receiving a partial refund for the cancelled second day, I do not feel the compensation was adequate. The first day's itinerary was entirely within the town of Banff, and we could have easily visited those locations independently. The second day, which included Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, was the primary reason we booked the tour, as transportation to those destinations was the service we truly needed. Having that portion of the tour cancelled was very disappointing and significantly impacted our overall experience.

Everything is organized very well. Bus drivers are guides as well. Our driver Ben is very interested speaker. Guides are pointed to very imported details of the tours. There were no delays. Buses are very clean and comfortable.

2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Banff.

How much does 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs cost?

    +

Prices start at $147 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Banff usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs take?

    +

Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Banff is not rushed.

Is 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.1/5 across 14 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Banff, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs?

    +

Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Banff can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Banff and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does 2 Day Moraine Lake Louise Johnston Canyon Gondola Hot Springs start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Banff within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Banff?

    +

On Outty we rank every Banff experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Icefields Parkway Full-Day Tour, Hop-On and Hop-Off Banff Bus, ShuttleBus 2way Banff to Lake Louise (1Hr) and Moraine Lake (1Hr). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Banff?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Banff?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
