2 day/1night packed trip from Paris
Ilya was our tour guide for the private tour of Normandy & Mont Saint-Michel with other great stops along the way. My wife and I very much enjoyed the tour. Normandy (American cemetery/Omaha beach) and the WWII museums were very emotional. He was able to help us find my great uncles gravesite. Ilya had a great depth of knowledge of the war as well of the overall history of the area of all our stops. Mont Saint-Michel was gorgeous. Our hotel was nice. The transportation was a newer and very clean Mercedes minivan and our driver kept us safe and on schedule. We very much enjoyed this tour.

We were so pleased to go with David and Igor to Normandy. The service was excellent, David was so conscientious and professional and always took into account our needs and wants, really making us feel like his priority. Igor, the driver, was also very professional, always on time and polite and courteous. We really enjoyed our two days with them!

Everything you could ever want in an excursion!
This 2 day experience was so wonderful in many ways! We saw many beautiful and historic sites-quaint small villages, museums, the Normandy beaches and of course, miles of gorgeous French countryside. Then there was Cyrus, our guide. He was committed to making our experience just what we wanted it to be! He was a wealth of knowledge about historical events but also the French way of life. He patiently answered so many of our naive questions and didn't rush us at any stop. He also helped us interact with the local people, explaining customs that, as Americans, we didn't know. In the end, we felt like we were leaving a friend behind! It was a great experience and we still talk about different aspects of that trip! We are hoping to book with Cyrus to Bruge, Belgium in the future!

Clewel Travel will not provide the service offered
Clewel Travel is unprofessional. They did not provide the service promised. First it was suppose to be English Speaking. He was not! Second - They mixed up the tour we were suppose to do with another one. When we told them this was not on our tour their solution was to compromise the complete tour. We paid up front and traveled thousands of miles to see the sites promised and they expected us to be happy with the compromise because it was better than nothing at all. They provided 2 out of the 7 places. Our charge was over $3,000 for 2 people and when we asked for a refund they offered $200 Last - Viator will not be in your corner. They advertise that they vet each tour company but they don't because even after being informed about this situation this same tour company still has this service listed on Viators website.
Response from the operator: To save up time of writers and readers news in brief. It was our mistake to take the customer to our most popular 2-day Loire Valley, Mont Saint Michel, D Day trip instead of Same 2-day trip but without Loire Valley. After the first Castle visiting the traveller realised that she had it not on the list. The best solution for us would be to make FULL REFUND and to bring the customer back to Paris what was offered. But the customer insisted to amend the itinerary and to offer what we could do. We accepted it only because the situation was our fault and we tried to do everything to please the customer. We worked out within 20 minutes a new itinerary and the customer AGREED to it. We did it IN FULL. Buy the way this updated itinerary contained 75% of all original itinerary. Few days later the traveller demanded nearby full money back. We paid out all in all much more that 50% of the money we have got. Of course it was not enough to cover our costs. As the customer asked us to continue to work out a new itinerary she never spoke about refund. We realised that it would come. We realised as well that for us it was cheaper just to bring her back to Paris making full refund. But we decided to do whatever she wanted not to destroy her travel plans.

Excellent tour!!!
We had an awesome tour!!! If you want a great experience with the best tour guide ask for Cyrus his knowledge of history was amazing . Mont St Michel is something not to miss. The small towns were beautiful and a nice addition to the tour. Cyrus timed our Normandy tour so we could see the lowering of the flag at the American Cemetery. There are no words to describe that. Don’t miss this tour. Thank you Cyrus!!

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Paris.
How much does 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris cost?
+
Prices start at $750 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Paris usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Paris is not rushed.
Is 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.3/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Paris, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Paris can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Paris and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-day Mont Saint-Michel, Full D-Day, Normandy Private from Paris start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Paris within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Paris?
+
Paris rewards travelers who book ahead. The headline museums sell timed entry weeks out, the best food walks cap at eight people, and the Seine cruises that are worth doing are the ones that leave after sunset. Everything below is scored by the Outty Ranking so you can tell a genuine local favorite from a coach-tour filler in a single glance. On Outty we rank every Paris experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Louvre Museum Essential Guided Tour Semi Private 6 GUESTS MAX, Louvre Museum Premium Guided Tour 6 GUESTS MAX Entry Included, Paris City Center Free Walking Tour (Tip-Based). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Paris?
+
April to June and September to October, when queues thin out and terraces stay open late. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Paris?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
