Book Direct, Not Here
This is a fun experience for one night if you can’t make it to a proper safari while in Africa. I recommend booking directly with Inverdoorn, rather than through Viator or a tour company. The tour company that I got through Viator charged significantly more than this should have cost, booked me in a terrible room, and wasn’t responsive or helpful. Inverdoorn’s staff told me that this is a common problem.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your 5-star review and for taking the time to share your experience with us! We’re thrilled you enjoyed your night at Inverdoorn and that it provided a wonderful safari taste while you were in Africa. We completely understand and agree that booking directly with us often works out more affordable. That said, the higher rate charged through Viator largely comes down to the fact that our packages include return transport between Cape Town and the lodge, which many guests don’t always factor into the total cost when comparing prices. We’re sorry to hear you ended up in a room that didn’t meet your expectations. Just to clarify, this package is based on our standard rooms as per the itinerary. Many guests assume they are getting a luxury room upgrade, but that is not included in this specific package. One of the benefits of booking through Viator is their excellent cancellation policy, which offers more flexibility and protection than booking directly with lodge .We always recommend checking exactly what’s included in the room category before confirming Thank you again for choosing to book thru moafrika tours — we truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back again soon!

Well managed game reserve experience at Inverdoon’s with great hospitality
This is a beautiful spot north of Cape Town, not too hard to get to. The accommodations are very comfortable and the food was fantastic. Each time we went out for a drive in the truck we saw different animals. Our guide, Peter, was careful to make sure that everyone Saw all the animals. My husband missed one outing and Peter went around to find the elephants and giraffes that he had missed. During our evening drive we stopped and had a glass of sparking wine. The service in the restaurant and the breakfast area was very friendly and efficient. Our server Suleiman was very friendly. We had a great experience there.

Incredible game experience awaiting here.
Thanks to MoAfrika we received incredible service and everything was taken care of for us. We had incredible game drives here and saw wide varieties of animals. Our driver went out of his way to show us the best views of the animals. The lodge was luxurious and the staff were friendly. The food was delicious and I would definitely return here.

Absolutely loved spending our 2 days at Inverdoorn.
This stay combines the feelings of peace and serenity with luxury. We were blown away with the top-notch amenities and service that we received. It is also extremely quiet and private which is an added bonus. The game drives are the real cherry on top for this stay. Our guide Fredrick was a fantastic ranger and could spot animals from far away.

Well-arranged safari in Inverdoorn.
MoAfrika was extremely helpful and reliable and provided us with a guide who knew everything about Inverdoorn and its wild animals and popular spots. Our stay itself was great and we had some of the best meals here. Your days here are filled with various activities to keep you busy and it’s a great way to get your mind off things for 2 days.

2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari cost?
+
Prices start at $11165 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 13 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable nightlife in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari?
+
Around 5 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Day Inverdoorn Luxury Safari start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
