Fantastic
We were lucky that we had a wonderful tour guide to help us. He was very energetic, jovial and took the time to explain everything in detail. He answered questions that we didn’t even know to ask. It was an excellent tour. Thank you, aviator.

Three day tour
This was by far my favorite experience on my trip to South Africa. Taariq was my guide. From the time he picked us up on Sunday he allowed us to modify our first day due to the fact we did it already. He listened to our likes. So we ended up at ghe botanical gardens and a winery. He is super friendly and honest has become a life long friend. He suggested the walk with the elephants. This was by far the most memorable experience ever. He even arranged for me to ride on the hood of the car. Also Liez the host at the lodge is a sweet heart. I will be requesting taariq again.

South Africa Safari Review
Had the most amazing guide inTarriq Voltman of Cape Extreme! Ended up being a private tour for three days. Amazing animal safaris, cave visit, food. My daughter was able to have a Cheetah encounter which she loved. Best part was walking with the elephants and getting to feed them. Our host Liez was wonderful and her accommodations and dinner for us was amazing. Would definitely do this again and highly recommend our guide, Tarriq Voltman

2 Day Safari Tour
We did the 2 day Safari tour, picked up early on Saturday and dropped off late afternoon on Sunday in Cape town. The safari: Overally i enjoyed the experience but it did felt a bit like going to a zoo, the safari took place on big 5 game reserve. I was hoping for a bit more adventure but was happy to see lots of animals. optional Elephant and ATV: I didn't do either but my friend did the ATV, they put you in a group and you have to go as slow as the slowest persons' speed. Dinner first night: Great. Breakfast next morning: acceptable with yogurt, toast and fresh fruit. Cave: adventure tour was great and fun. Bus: great and comfortable. Guide: Great and knowledgeable. Hotel: this is the part where I deducted 1 star. The room felt clean but there is a cat that roams around. I'm really allergic to cats and when cat hair gets on my clothes it makes even my next day miserable. another one star deducted: lots of driving around and didn't feel like actual activity time was substantial.
Response from the operator: Dear K D Thank you for taking the time to give a review of your experience on our 2 Day Wildlife Safari Tour. We are very glad to hear that your experience was a very positive one overall and that you really enjoyed the Cave adventure. l. We are sorry to hear about the cat at the accommodation and your allergies here. We also are sorry to hear about the star deduction for the amount of driving, unfortunately South Africa is a very big place and the distances between attractions and activities can be quite large meaning that time spent travelling/driving is unavoidable in order to experience the variety on offer. We hope to see you again on one of our tours in the future. Thank you and safe travels.

3 Day Tour- So much fun!
We did this trip over a month ago and I promised our tour guide Khotso (who was amazing!!) that he would get a ravishing review and instead of doing what I normally do - putting something on a to do list and never getting it done and eventually just taking it off entirely, I knew I had to write this. This trip was amazing. I am 22 years old and I did this with a 24 year old and a 13 year old and we all had an amazing time! Very well run and our tour guide was magnificent. If you're on the fence about dishing out some cash for these excursions, don't be. It was well worth it and oh my god was the elephant encounter ever breath taking. Book with them. They're amazing. You'll be glad you did.
Response from the operator: Dear Jasmine. Thank you for this awesome review! We are thrilled to hear that you had such a great time on the 3 Day Big 5 n Bungee Tour... definitely one of our most popular offerings! You only live once! Be adventurous! Best wishes for 2019!

Why this scores 73
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $5985 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 21 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable food & drink in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 72 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 10. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 48-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour?
+
Around 7 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2 Day Garden Route Wildlife Safari - Small Group Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
