Great time in Siem Reap, Cambodia
For our 3-day trip in Cambodia, my agent (from VivuTravel) arranged our Siem Reap itinerary with Green Era Travel. Our trip started with travel guide (Kuysin) and the driver picking us up from SIA and taking us to our hotel to check-in and relax. Over the next 2 days, my wife and I visited Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, and Bayon Temple, as well as Tonle Sap Lake. We are at awe of Cambodia's rich and ancient history/culture. Kuysin was very professional, knowledge, friendly, and made us feel very comfortable and safe the whole time. He answered all of questions and we learned so much about Cambodia (p.s. he also took some great pictures for us, really happy about that). I would highly recommend Kuysin as your excursion guide if you do go with Green Era. We had a great time and really enjoyed our visit here.
Response from the operator: Dear Henry, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us on TripAdvisor. It was truly a pleasure to have you and your wife join us for your 3-day trip in Cambodia, and we're delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time exploring Siem Reap with Vivu Travel (Vietnam) and Green Era Travel in Cambodia. We're thrilled that Kuysin, your guide, provided you with professional and knowledgeable service throughout your tour. He takes great pride in ensuring our guests feel comfortable, safe, and well-informed during their visit. It's wonderful to hear that Kuysin's expertise enhanced your experience, and we'll be sure to pass along your kind words to him. We're glad that you had the opportunity to visit some of Cambodia's most iconic landmarks, including Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm, Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, and Tonle Sap Lake. Cambodia indeed boasts a rich and ancient history, and we're delighted that you were able to immerse yourselves in its culture during your visit. Once again, thank you for choosing Green Era Travel, and for recommending Kuysin as an excursion guide. Should your travels bring you back to Cambodia in the future, we would be honored to welcome you again for another unforgettable experience. Warm regards, Jeff

Our guide Lonh was the key to a fun and educational visit to Siem Riep!
This is our 3rd time traveling with Green Era in Siem Riep with our school group of US teenagers. Each time has been a fantastic itinerary of sunrise temple tour, Tonle Sap village, Landmine museum, and other Siem Riep points of interest. This year, our guide Lohn was FANTASTIC. He planned out the logistics perfectly so that we missed the large crowds and queues and had shade at the hottest parts of the day. He got to know our students and added things that would interest them, like bug taste testing and a spontaneous visit to a local high school. And a big added bonus is that he is a great photographer and lots of tricks to get the coolest temple photos. His happy personality, flexibility, and deep Cambodian knowledge made our trip educational, fun, and memorable!
Response from the operator: Hello myvann2016, Greeting from Green Era Travel! We are appreciated for your value time to review and highly recommend us on Trip Advisor. We truly appreciated your kind words about your tour. It is definitely a boost for us every time we hear positive reviews such as this. Furthermore, we are thrilled to hear that you love our tour. We will pass this comment to guide and team as well. Sure they will be happy to hear that. Last but not least, we would like to wish you and your families have a great day. We do hope to see you again soon in next trip in Cambodia. Best Regards, GET Team

Why this scores 76
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour take?
+
Plan for about 48 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 48-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour?
+
Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 48-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does 2-Day Best of Angkor Wat and Tonle Sap Lake Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
